Love the shoes! I too love a plum literally and figuratively. When I was a child my mother had me choose a beach towel color. I picked a beautiful plum color and then picked a monogram for it in a cinnamon taffy pink . I have loved the combination of plum and pink ever since. I rarely see it. One day I would love to design a bedroom in those very colors. It would have to be very custom since those specific colors are not easy to find. That combined with furniture pieces in ivory and darker wood would be so fabulous.
Thanks! I love your beach towel story. Reminds me of a beach towel I chose in the early 80's (the heyday of "Preppie") that was navy and kelly green with a strip of embroidered whales on the edge. Loved that towel!!

I love all of your selections in the video, particularly the plum items! You may be happy to know that animal prints are actually trending, at least according to some influencers that I follow. I have a pair of leopard print ballet flats that I’ve had for at least ten years and plan to pull out again this season. I also have a leopard print blouse that’s been hiding in the back of my closet that I’ll need to pull to the front. Thanks for your video. I always look forward to them!

I’ve tried spraying the Magnesium oil onto me feet at night, I rub it in, put on light socks and NO CRAMPS! It’s amazing!
Leopard is a huge trend in the UK this autumn. I cannot wait to say hello to all my lovely boots again this season. 😂

I am definitely seeing more and more of it featured in articles and such lately. But in the past month I was seeing reports of it being "out". Glad the tides have turned back to leopard being the classic it is!

Great favorites! Love that Quince sweater and have it in almost every color. I broke down and got a few burgundy cashmere pieces that I will probably only be able to wear a few times this winter but I am obsessed with burgundy, wine, and plums. Bring on the fall colors, even in 80 degrees! Enjoy! ❤

I love all of the shoes you chose. Luckily, I have a pair of leopard ballet flats already. I do think it's a classic, too!
I have a pair of leopard loafers I bring out in the fall (they sometimes make a summer appearance) and I'm happy to add the ballet flats to my leopard family.

In my early 50s I stopped sleeping well too. It turned out that I had lost all of my melatonin, which is the hormone that tells your brain that it’s dark so it’s time to go to sleep. My doctor said it’s very common to lose it as you get older. So I started taking melatonin supplements almost 10 years ago and from the first night I have slept like a log every night. So it’s definitely worthwhile getting your melatonin levels checked.

I am 5'5" and the photo I showed was me in the regular length, wearing 2.5" heels. I got the petite pair in the mail today and the length is perfect for me wearing flats. I hope that helps.

How cold does it get there in the dead of winter.
On average, it gets into the 50s and 60s during the coldest part of the year here in the Orlando area. However, we were on a Disney vacation years ago in January when the temps were in the 30s. But that was rare.
