It's not that black and white. Lemond barely survived a shooting accident which left him with led poisoning for the rest of his life, and I think he struggled with weight down on top of that. Lemonds fierce anti doping activism lines up with being dropped by minutes in the early 90's emergence of EPO, so there's evidence of consistency there. Greg's came back from a death sentence as well, and won clean in my opinion, which deserves far more praise than Armstrong, who's celebrity and rock n roll attitude can be fairly distorting. It's all about money for Armstrong and trying to buy back credibility and integrity.
Greg LeMond OWNS Lance Armstrong. The former is a real man and the latter is a little boy. Greg endured far worse abuse as a child and handled it with dignity and class as an adult. Lance became a nark to cancel out his opponents for the exact same thing he was doing - being on the juice.
You're beginning to sound like a broken record. Lance may have been a great athlete, the doping is almost irrelevant it's the bullying and the careers he ruined on his journey that makes him a cnut. I'd take take 1 Greg Lemond over 10 Lance Armstrong's any day. Isn't this Cycling Tips and not Cycling rants by the way?
@@DurianriderCyclingTips I actually doubt that Greg doped, at least not to the same level, but it's not really about the doping but the intimidation. Besides, why do post this now, what inspired you to post about Greg v Lance in Durianrider Cycling Tips, I see no tip? I'll hazard that it was for the clicks, as you said still the biggest search term in cycling. Anyway all good, we all have our opinions.

Lance reacted to peoples jealousy.
