@@QuickS4nd It actually got buffed overall, they nerfed it to compensate for the global projectile buff
@@anriell I did the maths and she should have now 0.15 + 0.10 = 0.25 in the size of Kunai... not bad! (Hanzo gets 0.20 flat)
@@Kat.x3 Yeah, you're right! Now that I calculated the changes, it makes sense (the number also makes it easier to make comparisons, plus it looks nicer: 0.18 --> 0.15).
Your still a great kiri though anriel, im sure you'll find a way. Good players find a way bad players find any excuse is what i go by. You'll still make kiriko work, i believe in you.

For me, I don't think it will be a nerf. They'll change only the base projectile size. Instead of going for 0.18 to 0.28, It will be 0.15 to 0.25. It's the same size of bullets of (season 8) Junkrat and Mercy. Maybe it's a buff. But obviously it will be tiring trying to get more critical hits because of health increase on all heroes.

Man I'm very bummed on the new changes. I liked playing an assassin playstyle going for quick flank kills. First they got rid of the one shot combo on Tracer and now everything is 3 tap. It's just not going to feel as satisfying anymore. And now that the hitbox is so big on Kunai, like legit the size of old junk grenades, the skill expression takes a hit too. I don't even care about the balance...I'd take a Kiri with huge suzu nerf, less health, and smaller projectile in exchange for being able to two tap on headshots any day. RIP golden age of Kiriko.
Amen. Only reason why I played this game was cus kiriko came out. The two tap always felt like you had agency at any point and could 1v1 dps. Now kiri seems more util than anything
Fights are gonna be much longer and maybe the healing will be stronger.
I think they made Kiri easier overall, we will be hitting more shots, but the reward will not be there. I agree that Kiriko had a higher skill requirement before… But I think she will be still fun to play and one of the best supports.
@@anriell She will definitely still be strong, no denying that. I'm js that for my personal tastes in what I enjoyed about her they've slowly made her less fun over time. Going on flanks and creating distractions here and there will still be viable. But it won't have that same aura and feeling to it old Kiriko had.
@@jared9669 Yeah she was a big reason why I continued playing as a support player in OW2. She felt very responsive and crisp on release and has slowly deteriorated since. I think you will still have plenty of agency in 1v1ing DPS on this patch for the record and she'll be strong. But I think she might not feel as fun or rewarding to play sadly

As a ram main its already hard to kill a 200hp getting healbotted, but with a 250 HP ONE i need 1 more pummel 😢
Remember that healbotting will no longer be anywhere as efficient as DPS will apply 20% anti with basic attacks.
It sucks that I practiced for so long aiming just for them to increase the projectile size

It’ll take time but I think we’ll all get used to it, I think it’ll change kiris play style into certain match ups. Having junkrat sized projectiles so we can hit those widows and hanzos sounds like fun !

minus the nerf and plus the buff, then you get 0.25, so its a buff

Didn't feel that she now not strong, she still being such a little cutie war machine if u re doing good headshots, and because of increased hitboxes its now more interesting. Maybe it is just because i m in diamonds and there are not so many players that can kill 250hp character without her escaping. But i still like to play her, now it is more funny to me, idk

I like to use Kiri to bait people out of position, they bite the hook of a false sense of security every time, I swear. I'm going to miss the explosive 2 taps and just how quickly a team fight can be shifted based on them. RIP OW2 lol
Kiriko will still be a top support and I’m interested in how the role passives will change the game.
I’m not impressed with the universal health increase though. Coupling that with the universal bullet size buff feels like the biggest nothing burger in OW history.

At least people can hopefully stop bitching about her kunai projectile hitbox now because it's been reduced and every character has a health increase. Now they can just bitch about her suzu and teleport abilities for stupid reasons because they got out outplayed.

They nerfed Kiriko’s to compensate for the buffs.
These changes make me want to stay away. It was already fucking impossible to get someone to peel to help a back line who gets jumped but now we are expected to do what exactly tickle the supports? Use harsh language to deter a 300 hp reaper? Ugh
