Yes. Literally was facing a afk farming ursa. My teammate on eastlane didn't wanna kill the solo mag that was stuck vs us two. I should've just warded Ursas triangle
When I used to play dota, i did this with techies and it was really fun. I destroyed the camp, place some bombs around to see enemies coming, then get a few bombs on that camp before leaving the sentry there. The enemies who passed by would see the empty camp, and asked the support to come and deward. It's funny how human brain works. When you see a ward, you have you focus on it and react a bit slow to the bombs when they pop up (Q mines only show up when you stay close). Just a split moment like that may give you a kill, or at least time for them to go back and regen again. Do not always guarantee a kill, but it works surprisingly well sometimes, which was funny as hell. And in some of those games, the enemies literally trashtalk each other on the All channel.
This and killing enemy couriers is why it's so fun to play nature's prophet. You TP into triangle, sentry the camps, use scroll to get back to base, rinse and repeat in their jungle. You get a few well placed sentries to give you vision on couriers and take them out every time they area heading down lanes. Basically makes it so hard for the enemy to get a decent early and mid game not to mention you have great map vision to increase effectiveness on your ult.
Main KOTL here, would like to provide additional insight on camp blocking: 1. If your enemy doesn't rely on invisibility (such as Riki, Nyx, etc.) and your teammate does (you have Riki in your team, for example) SPAM 'EM ALL. The enemy will have no choice but to unblock with sent and have less sent for detection in lanes. 2. In general, sent is a limited resource and pos5 typically is poor as fuck, so read the tide of the game and choose which camps to block. Most of the time you would want to block enemy ancient triangle, as this area provides the highest mmr/gold. Secondly, by blocking camps you will compel enemy core/farmer to move out of that area to the other area, therefore, you may consider blocking their camps around safe lane/mid lane, force them to go somewhere else, allowing you to push these lanes, safely.
The best line for a pub after a failed gank or wasted enemy chrono/black hole etc has proven to be ‘what was the plan there big guy?’. Doesn’t have to be big guy in particular, you could use ‘muscles’ or ‘big man’, as long as it sounds like something an uncle would say.
This is my goto strat when playing against farm heavy heroes like Alchemist. Block their triangle and they just don't know what to do with themselves. At my tier they don't try to get farm on the other side of the map, they just kind of run around confused like "why didn't the camps spawn?"
I remember doing this in a game and enemy carry raging on his support in all chat for blocking the camp by mistake whereas he repeatedly told he didn't do it 🤣👌.
I tried this using lich... at first the enemy supports were willing to spend money to deward but after more than 20 mins of me doing the same thing over and over, they stopped dewarding and everything started to fall apart on their side even if they had a huge level and gold advantage. which resulted to our win.
This is what i always do when there is a Alchemist in enemy team. Its enough to block ever second spot. Priority the spots you can farm together. All this walking time to every second spot slows him down drastically.
Jesus Christ this is so much true, freaking guys spend at least 40min just farming and doing nothing. It blows my mind how some games i just do NOTHING (as pos5) and win the game. LITERALLY nothing, i just watch the progress of the game and wait till anyone start a fight.
I did this strat once. I was playing as Monkey King because I loved his mobility so I took the chance to experiment on my heroes since I don't usually play MK as a Support. I warded every enemy NC camp and even killed the NC by myself. The enemies were so focused that even their Techies was not planting bombs for their towers anymore. Their Techies and the other Support were so busy fending me off that they forget to help their Carries, because when they go help their Carries, that's when I will enter their jungle carefully and place wards again. I'm not saying my strat was what helped us win, but it's nice to pick off heroes and take them out of the fight even if you don't kill them.
How to tilt enemy cores (works particularly well against agi carry 1 tricks): 1. Accept match 2. Insta highlight offlane 3. Pick techies 4. Blast off 3 times which should result in you denying yourself (make sure you hit both enemies otherwise ur gonna die) 5. Return to lane, now with level 2, maybe even 3. 6. Red mine the pull path 7. Thanks Jenkins. I usually watch your contents very usefull, different and fun to execute. U know what, im gonna subs this today because i appreciate what u doing man
Got 3 straight wins from using this tactic using Underlord. My favorite experience was making Shadow Shaman mald as hell. I would always show up to in their radiant triangle with SoD and 5 sentry wards in my backpack. Sometimes I'd run into them resulting in my certain death, but I never stopped. To me, I was confident with Underlord's XPM and GPM so I was never bothered with my item, not a bit. I had to make sure that their support will participate in my little psychological warfare and their carries forced to farm in lanes or in our jungle. So yeah, this strat is OP if you know what you're doing.
My favourite strat way back when was going nature prophet and warding every camp against a jungler and watch them think it was a bug when no camps spawned.
Neutral creeps usually have 100G+ if they killed, sentry is 100G so even if they deward it they spent 100G and 100G+ neutral creeps. So for the 100G sentry u decrease the gold of your enemies by 200G+
I found this video late 2 months after released..dayumm enemy also put sentry ward to your video..now i want to know all this kind of little detail please..subscribed!
When I'm a 4 in offlane if I notice the 1 goes to small camp or they are pulling I instantly go and sentry it. Then watch as they have no clue as to why it won't respawn
Yo i just tried this against a luna and drow ranger lineup, the luna went mid idk, and blocked lunas ancients plus some jungle camps and the luna abandoned 20 mins in. GGEZ Thx Jenkins
This is good I do it from time to time specially with alchemist enemy, But Jenkins not everyone is rude, if my carry asks me to deward I instantly leave everything else and make sure its done.
In my mmr, while i go to block enemy camp, my safelane core feeds twice. And by the time enemy core starts farming jungle, the ward is already despawned.
ROFL I got this game where I blocked all of the enemy camps because they are all farming heroes and the enemy offlane pangolier got so angry he kept all chatting and calling me a dumbass for thinking that blocking camps will win me games. He had to buy sentries every time probably because his support wont deward the camps for him and eventually he became an offlane with barely no items, he cried till the game ended. He later added that "If blocking camps wins games then why OG isn't doing it" then called me a dumbass again ahahaha, that was a 1k game by the way. That guy was literally crying in chat everytime, insulting me for blocking his camps lol so I can say this is a really legit strategy to tilt enemies. That time it did not win me the game but I made an offlaner cry. I did the same on a game with a meepo, I just followed meepo everywhere he farms, by follow I mean, I'm literally on his face hitting him or the neutral creeps he was farming, no one even helped him cause it was still too early in the game. We won.
Are you me? It's so confusing to see enemy team write "you were so bad never play like that again!" - while we are destroying their ancient... Literally just because "that tactic would never work beyond 1k"
i am astonished people dont do this more. i think im actually going to do this rotation as a carry player and when people do this to me, i will legit just buy a gem as a carry player, mb give it to my supports afterwards.
Jenkins : "This smurf TA doesn't have any reason to be in mid" Then i remember your video from a few "month ago"? (I forgot when) Jenkins : "You can get the most value by waiting" I guess the TA doesn't know this
Lol I used to do it long back, but then I realized the enemy team farms our creeps and we generally end up losing any fights that happens coz they out farmed us. Oh and by the way, normally after 1/2 camp spawns, carries realize this quick enough. This strat is soo old and will only work in Herald bracket, maybe not there too.
I only started playing Dota like 3 days ago. I enjoy it too much! Lol. It is a steep learning curve so I watch allot of videos in order to learn. So I watched this video. So for an armature question, when you say you block the camps, do you just mean you make the position visible, or do you actually block the camps so that they cant farm at all, even if the other team can see them?
I had a game with enemy TB in safelane.. we literally bullied him, then he change to jungling.. when i noticed the support is the only one farming in the safelane( im supp), i bought 10 sentries and block their camps... lol .. he then blame supps for not dewarding.. ez tip from my teammates..
@@egrassa1480 it depends on their line-up. A lot of the times when your team is pushing bot tier one you can be in the jungle with a blink and if you see anyone you just dip out with blink and regroup mid or push with your team.
As a former Lich player, I might not be able sacrifice the ranged creep to screw over and tilt the enemy carry anymore, but I sure do enjoy blocking their jungle camps. Most of them have the mental fortitude of over-cooked ramen noodles.
I just tried this. We got crushed in the early game, enemy spectre got a quick radiance. I blocked half his jungle and he started farming lanes aggressively and feeding, then we won eventually despite my sven getting fucked hard in lane.
I try this as well as other similar things in every game i play and it works out in maybe 1 or 2 out of 10 games... even if you successfully gank alot of times it makes no difference in the long run because of as you said... they do NOTHING but hit creeps then the game ends itself at some point.

Thanks Jenkins. I usually watch your contents very usefull, different and fun to execute. U know what, im gonna subs this today because i appreciate what u doing man
But I try to make my team rage instead.....
Pick blood seeker. Spam skill 1 to allies
@@mayhendrapanjaitan8924 lol
So you block your own team!
your proguides videos are just insanely good! Keep it up Jenkins!
You're a mad genius I love you for this
Omg 3 carries intro is so relatable
do this as a pudge Techies combo, with Monke or Nature doing their curier killing, and then bet with your premades which enemy will ragequit first
Got 3 straight wins from using this tactic using Underlord.
Come for dota, stay for the murder hobo stories!
Thx dude, I love your videos!
Man,this is crazy, now I know why I couldnt farm sometimes, because didnt respawn, because of the wards
Every game i went offline I drop a sentry in the enemy safe camp, I never lost a game with this. Thank you for giving me more fun ideas.
Thank you man this shit really worked they all blamed lc for being low level but I was blocking camps. ❤️ Thank you
So basically every SEA GAME ever
My favourite strat way back when was going nature prophet and warding every camp against a jungler and watch them think it was a bug when no camps spawned.
When I try to do this, I'll get caught in the jungle and feed.
Neutral creeps usually have 100G+ if they killed, sentry is 100G so even if they deward it they spent 100G and 100G+ neutral creeps. So for the 100G sentry u decrease the gold of your enemies by 200G+
i actually tried this 2 days ago and it was pretty good.now im sad that u made people aware of this
I found this video late 2 months after released..dayumm enemy also put sentry ward to your video..now i want to know all this kind of little detail please..subscribed!
this video was so good, i liked, subbed, and subscribed :D
When I'm a 4 in offlane if I notice the 1 goes to small camp or they are pulling I instantly go and sentry it. Then watch as they have no clue as to why it won't respawn
I smiled on "u can have 4 idiots in ur team". LOL
wth is that ending and why am I suddenly invested
Great vid! keep it flowing !
My cousin and I used to do this in pub matches, funniest shit we've ever done.
-SEA Server adventures
Yo i just tried this against a luna and drow ranger lineup, the luna went mid idk, and blocked lunas ancients plus some jungle camps and the luna abandoned 20 mins in. GGEZ Thx Jenkins
Im def gonna try this out. also i love the funny things you say in the intros
Ive been doing this on Herald bracket and guess what? No one ever finds out why their camp arent spawning. HAHAHA
You don't have to tell me twice. You might have to tell me three times.
What's a three?
@@xX_YallaShoot_Xx idk he is stupid there is only 1, 2 ,more than 2 less than 4 , 4 and 5 etc
This is good I do it from time to time specially with alchemist enemy,
But Jenkins not everyone is rude, if my carry asks me to deward I instantly leave everything else and make sure its done.
Jenkins : "This smurf TA doesn't have any reason to be in mid"
Then i remember your video from a few "month ago"? (I forgot when)
Jenkins : "You can get the most value by waiting"
I guess the TA doesn't know this
Sometimes we as carry want reach that sweet 900gpm hhahaha
Me : Having a mental break down.
Also me after playing DotA2 : My Mind - SNAPS IN HALF.
Jenkins what if you bought a quelling blade and cut trees so you can place a sentry in a place where you need 2 sentries to deward?
This tactic is gold! Played 10 games and won 9 because of this tactic.
Awesome video . Really useful for games where everyone is selfish.
I usually just pick Techies. As a bonus it works on my own team as well. Very efficient strategy.
I disagree with TA being a defensive jungling hero. Usually if I win the lane I'm farming the enemy jungle
Few people with couple stuns will shit on her, if enemy team is bad sure you can do that
@@egrassa1480 A blink dagger can usually dodge most stuns
@@MrPian0Mann there many instant disables tho
Great stuff man love the vids
I try this as well as other similar things in every game i play and it works out in maybe 1 or 2 out of 10 games... even if you successfully gank alot of times it makes no difference in the long run because of as you said... they do NOTHING but hit creeps then the game ends itself at some point.
0:37 this is so true everytime I don’t play mid I get a afk farming mid and I’m like wtf are you doing
Your intros are what I live for
