Playa Porto Mari, Curacao - The Best Snorkeling in Crystal Clear Water and a delicious restaurant

- www.jordanouts... Playa Porto Mari is located on the northwest side of Curacao. This beach has amazing snorkeling, crystal clear water, and the best restaurant. This beach is also spelled Playa Porto Marie on Google Maps. This was one of the longest beaches with soft sand that we visited in Curacao. We loved it and would highly recommend it. It cost us $3 per person to get in.

That was our favorite beach in Curaçao, too. It had everything, so we took an extra trip on our "off" day. We had the smoked salmon sandwich at the restaurant, and it was fantastic. The snorkeling is incredible, and the water is as clear as a swimming pool. We felt very safe as there were just very gentle waves lapping the shore. Just awesome.

The water is so clear. Not real deep. Easy to swim close to the fish. Such a beautiful place 💕

I've been to this beach a few times in 2013 and 2015. It is lovely. I'm really impressed by your underwater photography. I generally find needlefish and scorpionfish to be tough to photograph (for different reasons), so well done. I don't think I really appreciated that the spots on the head of a sharptail eel are different from those on the body, yellow as opposed to off-white, so thanks for showing me something new on a fish I've seen many times. I was also happy to see that the reef balls at Porto Mari are working. They were still pretty bare in 2013 and 2015.
I don't know if the restaurant has the same menu as it did the last time I was there, but I recommend the Dutch pancakes if they're still on the menu. They're good anytime, not just at breakfast time.

Thanks, yes I use a GoPro for my underwater footage. I use a DJI Mavic 3 for my drone footage!
Are the prices in USD? Looks a bit expensive.

We got there right after it rained. This was in November of 2022.
Is this the beach that has pigs?
We had heard that there are pigs, but while we were there we didn't see any pigs.
