Pranaam... So nicely demonstration of raag gara..its a melodious raag, and many famous song composed in this lovely raag... Love to listen your bandish on raga too... Keep spreading styles of ragas. 🌹🌹❤❤🤗
Really great episode on this beautiful raga. It is astonishing to see how some raags can be similar in some way and still be very different. While listening to various popular songs in the episode, one song that kept coming to my mind is from a marathi movie “Pinjara” - “De re kanha choli lugadi”. Online it says the song is in raag Piloo (I always thought “Mohe panghat pe” to be in Piloo as well, until now). It is sung by Lata ji. Can you please summarize some key differences between Piloo and Gara? Thanks!!
Wow! Mr. Pankaj jain Sahib. I was just browsing film songs based on Raags and i found your program. believe me i was so engrossed in it that i could not keep my eyes off my TV screen. Your knowledge and experience in classical music is great and the way you both conduct and present the program in a very casual style is amazing. I just finished watching your 36th episode on Raag Gara and that was awesome, and you were right about the words and pronunciations in singing a song is very important. So i hope you won't mind if i make a litte correction for a word in song which is " Mohe. Panghat Pe Nand Laal " and not " Moray Panghat Pe Nand Laal ". I hope you will not mind at all for this correction. Best wishes and God Bless you for providing this unique knowledge of music to all your viewers .
