Awesome video. Valerion light rejection screens are unfortunately limited to 120 inches. Is the projector bright enough to be used on a wall or a white screen during daylight?
Bummer to be limited to a 120” screen but I guess I can’t get that with a tv for that price. Thanks you for sharing your first impressions of the projector 😊.
@SuperAvivDash I'm definitely tempted as I've been thinking about a dedicated cinema room for a while now, as the colours, contrast levels together with black levels look amazing with this
Android has no 100mbps limit. The port on the device is simply 'fast' ethernet, i.e. syncs at only 100mbps line speed. Using a usb ethernet adapter bypasses this on other android ('google tv') devices, like recent chromecasts connected to usb hubs with built in gigabit adapters. The official 'google tv streamer' even has built in gigabit lol
The ethernet jack is 100 Mb, not 1 Gbps, Valerion has confirmed this on the Facebook launch group. Also, what screen did you use for this review? I see some laser speckle, but I'm not sure if it's just an artefact from the recording? - PRO2
Good stuff. I find that most of the footage from this projector by other reviewers and also you, the image motion seems to be too smooth aka the "soap opera". Perhaps the default settings are like that and only few realise to disable it ?
Yeah, I noticed the "soap opera" effect also, which I really dislike. I think there is an option to switch to the "movie" mode that get rid of the soap opera effect.
Why wouldn't we get the pro 2. Quality video with a great presentation. Like the noise floor thing! It's a little too high for me, but all the same nice that it's in there
@@RealSGPlays if you are considering OLED then you need a JVC projector or the black levels and native contrast or this projector will be a big let down. Also for a projector I would go if I have full light control and reflection control..plus a Large screen not just like 100 or something like that
Hello, I have a normal white wall, but tried with other laser projectors from LG and Hisense, but it was showing some bad color distribution in white colors like waves, how about this laser projector?
@@GeekStreet I think that's because I ran on a power saving plan where CPU set to reduced speed. I like touching cold laptops on surface. Heat is the number one enemy of the laptops

Wow, this looks amazing 😮

Good to see a review after a long time. I've backed the Max version and patiently waiting.. great video brother. Thank you

Pro 2!! Awesome content!

Hola. Buenas revisión. Gracias por utilizar la traducción automática al español. Ya me suscribí al canal. Saludos desde Bogotá Colombia
Thanks for the support, how was the Spanish audio translation?
@@GeekStreet Estuvo muy bien. Gracias de nuevo
I have the Max version on order. Anxious to see what the reviews will be for that one.
👌
Same herr. I'm assuming it will be essentially the same as the Pro 2. Valerion did mention that the Max will be shown at CES 2025.
I guess I'll start preparing the space for this projector.
🥳
Hello, how is the 24fps handling? The cinema content you showed looked like you had motion smoothing on.
Certainly looks like the ultimate cinematic experience.
👌
Grate quality and quite affordable
Image looks impressive 👍🏻
Seriously impressive
Awesome video. Valerion light rejection screens are unfortunately limited to 120 inches. Is the projector bright enough to be used on a wall or a white screen during daylight?
@PatrickAdia no that wouldn't work you'd need an ALR screen to be able to do that
Bummer to be limited to a 120” screen but I guess I can’t get that with a tv for that price. Thanks you for sharing your first impressions of the projector 😊.
@@PatrickAdia you aren’t limited to 120 inch screens. The Valerion fresnel is only 120 inch, but there are many other alr screens bigger than 120
@@Ewoodster sorry for the lack of clarity. I meant from Valerion. Is there any you would recommend outside of Valerion?
Try vividstorm
Pro 2. I wonder how its stacking up against the NexiGo Aurora Pro .
Great Review, Thank you. Please could do review of 3D performace. So far I have not come accros any reviews.
There are no 4K DLP Projectors using Pixel Shift that can do 4K/120hz. It's a DMD Controller limitation.
Hiw did it do with the dreaded speckle and dlp judder? "Pro 2"
Personally I didn't really notice that blatantly on my ALR screen.
Aren't alr supposed to be worst for speckle?
@davemils8910 yes but a standard flat screen avoids this.
What sound system are you using for the projector?
In the review I was just using with the built in speaker.
@GeekStreet Just watched through it and saw yeah. Do you plan on getting one?
@SuperAvivDash I'm definitely tempted as I've been thinking about a dedicated cinema room for a while now, as the colours, contrast levels together with black levels look amazing with this
How does it work during a day light?
With an ALR screen it was generally good
Projectors are bad at day light , it will never come equal to TV.

@GeekStreet vividstorm but what model specifically? If you can specify?:)

I want an ultra short throw with eARC, hdmi2.1 able to run 120-144hz from pc and ps5, not been able to find anything, does it exist ?
VisionMaster MAX, Will it a good competence for JVC NZ8 and LS12000 for home theater to use with 180" screen?, Please give your honest opinion.
Isnt this basically a hisense c2 ultra? Seem to have the same specs
so no UK store or price?

There's 2 types of screens one for ultra short throw and the other for long throw projectors.
