- It would be great if I could afford another motor, specifically this one,
the HobbyWing Axe 3300Kv... - IT IS A MONSTER OF A MOTOR, when properly installed in the "right" RC rig !!! Like your TRX4, is the "perfect" crawler rig to put it in !! If I put that motor in my GS02F... - it would definetly tear it up, drivetrain & all !!!! So I think I will just stick to my
Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport (12T) and my HobbyWing FUSION, (1800Kv), the 2300Kv Fusion Pro just came out, and that would be the "BEST" brushless FOC motor, to ("keep") in my GMADE (GS02F) !!! 😉👌
- I'm a Gmade (GS02F) Fan !!! ...A HUGE FAN. But I cannot wait for TRAXXAS to come out with their "NEXT" ["TRX"...whatever]... "TRX-4.2"
- I Iove to design, customize, and create... for RC Crawlers !!!!! 😁...👍

Yeah my go to electronics is the holmes hobbies motor and 1080 hobbywing esc and suits just about anything.. and the Axe for if I have extra funds to spoil 😄.. a new trx4 would be great but i can't see any changes the current chassis would need as its already great. I do appreciate the clip body mount on the new 2021 bronco tho...the Gmade crawlers looks great, wouldn't mind one myself 😄. Thanks for watching mate.. stay tuned 🙂

Hey man I’ve got the 540 2300kv axe edition gen8 can I upgrade to the 550 like you have without a esc upgrade?
I have the same combo from the gen 8, I never bothered to do any upgrades on it because i find its enough power as it is... Ive never tried upgrading just the motor so dont take my word for it, although i wouldnt think why you wouldnt be able to? As long as the esc has the same specs as the 550 combo, its really just a bigger motor.. but i would just double check if they have thesame specs.. thanks for watching bro.. hope you subbed to the channel 😊
@@KingsRC indeed I did sub , thank you for the input I’m gonna look into that maybe I just got the gen 8 axe I got less than 5 battery packs ran on it and already have a TON of mods I kinda just wanted to know just to know but either man great videos keep it comin! Happy trailing !

Do you find that the 15T on the 39T is too fast? I have a 3300 coming Tuesday and I went ahead and bought a 45T spur and a 12T and 14T pinion.
@@jonthomas8487 hey mate, yes it is.. sean has geared down this rig, and got a 9t pinion with the 45t... Alot of tourque with still a bit of speed.

Can you tell me which channel the ESC fan should be connected to?
Some say that with a JST cable in Y to channel 1 (connection of the servo) and others say that with the same cable but to channel 2 (connection of the ESC).

Hi Borja thanks for watching 😊, it should make a difference where you plug the fan, if you have a third channel/port in your reciever you could even plug in there so you wont need a y connector

Hi there , so the recommended pinion gear will be 15t for trx4 ?
Hi mate, the system i think is very versatile. Start off with the stock gearing from trx4 and go up and down from there, how you like it to run..maybe run with 45t spur with stock pinion, the 39t is too fast , imo. thank you for watching. Hope you are subbed to the channel 😊
