That unsolved question is keeping me from getting this motor , my cousin bought me the light kit for the bronco and now that’s preventing me to upgrade the motor hopefully someone will get us an answer soon
Is a 40W Weller too low? Having a hard time with the solder. Add in the lead free solder. Ps: using liquid flux. Solder is NOT sticking to the 3 axe lead posts! 60/40 solder you think will fix my situation? Great vid. This helps a bunch.

No matter what I do my spectrum dx5c won’t calibrate to my axe r2 3300 kv motor and esc the stock remote works without calibration but spectrum is just nothing
@@70tommydj already figured it out Sir. I am just asking for reference. If they don’t want to answer, it’s fine. Besides, there are still a lot of hobbyists that are generous in extending there knowledge out there. 😊

loosen the transmitter box and you can eventually shimmy out the connectors without cutting the guide

Where can we now connect the power module of the trx4 2021 bronco light kit? Since the jst from the stock esc was remove. Great video 😊

@@kctraviesodj you just solder a jst onto the battery terminals. Its not rocket science or get just to traxxas battery connector.

Do you know if the original trx4 pinion fits into an axe 550? If not, what’s the right size?
550 motors have 5mm shafts, so require 5mm bore pinion gears. Using the same tooth count, (or smaller) is fine.

Spectrum radios have default endpoints at 125%. Might be out of range for the HW. Try turning them down to 100% before calibration.
Try reversing the channel 2. I had to do that on some radios.

If you swap to a different spektrum receiver it works perfect
