@@nothing4anything I'm about to tell this :)
Thanks for covering this topic. No matter how advanced my English level gets, I always have problems when it comes to singular and plural forms.
Used both versions interchangeably before in tricky situations. Happy to know either were OK and neither was wrong. Thank you!

Superbly explained again. I had actually done everything correctly.
(Native speaker from south USA), You explain things well. After I finish this video I will go looking for one on who/whom. I mostly get it right if it is obvious like the object of a preposition, but in some cases I'm not sure.
Finally, I easily learned English grammar from you dear. Thank you ☺️ ❤
Hi, I am from Afghanistan I want to say that your perfect teacher, thanks alot for your teaching I love you so much! thanks again!
Well done. Your explanation conforms with Fowler's 'nouns of multitude' that can be either singular or plural.

Thank you so much for this lesson. I learned English many, many, many years ago. I love Grammar and I try to speak, respecting its rules, therefore nowadays that people do not pay attention to speak properly, they think that I am wrong 😂

I got 5/5 but it's all because of your explanations that were very clear! Thanks
Happy New Year Miss Lucy.
Brilliant lesson. 5 out of 5 ❤
4/5 😊 Thank you for your passionate work! I'm really grateful !
Thank you for this video, Lucy! Maybe you can also do a video on the if-clauses. In AE it has become super common to say: 'If I would have known this I would have done it differently'. Also people tend to skip the past perfect saying something like: 'If I knew this I would have done it differently' instead of 'If I had known this I would have done it differently.'
I would say "Had I known this, I would have done it differently" - just a different way of saying it.
@steveknight878 I like yours better. The whole phrase implied a silent "if." It's just my thought.
4/5👍
Lucy, difenetly, is the best teacher of English, I have ever met! :-) Deep thanks! :-)
Thanks, Lucy! Great lesson ❤

Thank you for your useful explanations.
Learning with you is always a pleasure
7:42 This always intervened with my confidence because I tend to stop and thinking when I realize 'ohh it's more than one, I should change it's - causing me to rephrase my sentence but most of the time, awkwardly.
During school I learned British English but as I'm growing older, I realize I'm actually using American English 🤭
Thank you!! I love this video. I have a follow-up question. How about “Either Lucy or I” is or am?
Clear and informative, as always!
Thank you Lucy, very interesting and I learnt something new. My score is 5/5🎉
Well done, thank you so much, you always choose useful topics to teach
Lucy thanks a lot.I love your teachings.
Excellent class, thanks Lucy.
In Portuguese, the verb there to be will always be conjugated in singular form when meaning the idea of existence (verbo "haver"), even if it's preceded by plural nouns. Ex.: "Há cadeiras na sala"; "Há muitos convidados na festa".
5/5. Actually I verbalized the first basic rules for myself before watching your video. The rest of the rules and/or filled the gap though. Thanks!
