Can't believe I got so lucky with my Search...EXCELLENT VIDEO - huge thank you. I have the L4060 also and looking at buying a wood chipper so now I know what I must do. Great job sir. Thank you again.
The by-pass switch is a great option. Fine job Alex. The 3rd function lines can be protected by aluminum sheet from a road sign. The aluminum bends and drilles easy plus strong. Kenny
Hey Kenny! Thanks for the suggestion! That would work really well and I can cut aluminim with woodworking tools...but where could I get a road sign legally...!
I too have an L4060. One could use the seat occupancy lead by using a Y52C2 connector. eBay sells them with the pigtails/ wires attached to the connector making it as simple as unplugging the factory wires going to your seat and plugging in the new connector and using the two wires coming off of it to jump that lead. So one’s tractor always thinks someone is in the seat. This means you can even make fine adjustments forward or back when hooking up your 3 point. Or stand up to see the tips of your pallet forks better while driving forward or backward. And run the PTO when not in the tractor. At your own risk of course. I subscribed to your channel nice work on the videos!
Good afternoon Alex. That's a big dumbbell. Excellent solution for bypassing the tilt seat switch. That's a big inconvenience resolved, well done. My tractor came with a button installed for that. Not sure how your lines are situated, perhaps cutting slots in hard plastic tubing and slipping over the lines. Have a great weekend.
Good day Paul! I did notice that some smaller tractors did have a button for that which confused me because other people with the same setup as me had the same issue. For the suggestion, great suggestion with the plastic sleeves but I am guilty as charged of the once it works and is functional it becomes good enough hehe!
Hey Mitch, thanks! It's a Garmin Solar Instinct. A basic Garmin smart watch. Serves my purposes well, only have to charge it every 2 weeks. I would personally skip the solar to save some money, you need a lot of sun to charge it up, easier to plug it in while I shower. As a smart watch it's pretty basic but it's been rugged and tough and I am not nice to it while working or at work and has survived for 4 years now!
Have you checked out Paul Short’s products? I have several of his accessories on my 4060, a 3rd function valve guard being one of them. I suspect you were possibly referencing his products as they are a bit pricey, but of great quality. Just passing that along, being very satisfied with his products….
Is there not a PTO switch on the front console to get around this problem. Brake on,PTO switch on, and you can get off the front seat as long as the brake is engaged ? My lx2610 has one.

@@brokenpinesfarm drop in to a local highway garage and they'll have old signs that were replaced. Pretty much garbage to them.

Clean install Alex, you wonder Kubota does not include this switch when buyers get the Air Ride seat, it would make sense. Have a great Sunday 🙋🏼♂
Hi Luc! Indeed! Or why we can't have LED lights for the price we pay... 🤷♂️
@@brokenpinesfarm I agree 👍🏻

Looks like a fulfilling project. Off topic, which watch are you wearing? Do you like it?

Yeah! So many nice things...so expensive. I'm sure I have a piece of metal around here I can spank into shape...

You have a link for those parts you used?
They should’ve just put the seat override on the parking brake.
