ICW Part 1: Annapolis, MD to Chesapeake, VA

We left on November 30th from Mill Creek Marina (our home port in Annapolis). Nate and his whole family came up for the event. We ate out and they stayed at the Maryland Inn in Annapolis. Nate saw us off in the morning and we began our first journey down the Atlantic ICW. We were spared injury or damage:
Broken tip on the Auto pilot
Depth sounder (transducer replaced)
Ann fell at our 2nd anchorage and received a huge bruise on the rear end
Ran aground in Hampton at the marina anchorage (waited for the tide to come up)
Hit a boat taking our boat in for a shower in Hampton
Rand rowed across the channel ok - but returning with crosswinds (neighbors picked him up)
Told to get off Navy property - had to take a detour around it, not on our charts
Hit the wreck in Hospital Point, met Mike who helped us get off it (swim ladder was down, caught on the wreck)
Survived our first Lock
