Legend has it that still to this day the boys won't walk in the sand pit barefoot, not because of shards of glass. Not because of fragments of melon or car. But because they're still missing *one* LEGO from that big block.
lego vs. basically any large amount of force will just shatter like glass i think. it's not held together by much, so while the bricks themselves are strong enough to escape unscathed, the cube will not, spreading legos everywhere (another reason the bricks won't be damaged is obviously them flying everywhere, if the cube held, the individual legos would take more damage.)
