I ordered the Maker 3 directly from Cricut, but now I’m wishing I had ordered it from Jo-Ann’s because I could have picked it up in the store and had it days ago! I did get a nice bundle from Cricut though. The speed is very impressive! Thanks for another great video. 😊

Your press looks extremely easy to use! I literally have to go on tippy toes to pull the lever down in mine even with low pressure projects!!

Love the sign and the pink shirt the best. All great designs. I think the Explore Air 3 would be my best choice as well. I have a maker and an Explore Air 2, and usually switch off with them. I usually gravitate to the Explore Air. At some point I may invest in a new machine later this year. Thank you for your thoughts on it.

Have you ever used your scraper to hold your mugs or tumbler, you can place the items in the middle ridge on the scraper to hold your tumbler to Steady it while you place the vinyl on it.
Yes, though it doesn't work on a cup of this shape because of the round curvature. :) That would work better on items that are straight walled.

I like your craft room, its in the colors I plan on having my room in once I move into my new place. Last year I purchase the maker, the air 2 and the mug press. I am so unsure about it because you have to use a computer with it that I do have, just not computer savvy lol. I hope I can follow how you do it even thou it’s not the 3 but about the same, tfs.

Hi Bethany, love your projects. I received my explorer 3 for Christmas 2021 but just got around to opening it a week ago. When I opened it I noticed that I was missing the manual, would you happen to know how I can get a manual I really need a manual to refer back to.
I was really happy to get your take on the Explorer 3. I bought a Maker back in November and don’t get me wrong, I enjoy it but if I had to do it over I would probably go for an Explorer as well. The new machines have really stepped things up to next level. Looking forward to seeing all the projects and hacks that will be coming from you and others on RUclips.

Hi Bethany. I bought my Explore 3 yesterday and really like it. I did have to adjust my cut pressure on several materials like everyday iron on, infusible ink sheets and premium vinyl. Is this normal?

What do you do if your explorer 3 breaks? Does cricut have repair people? (Just like if your computer breaks then you can get it fixed at a electronic store)

I have the same machine but It only allows me to use smart materials all the other ones are blocked. How do i fox this?
On the first craft you said you used more pressure. How were you able to do that? The first cut I did was great, the second cut wasn't too hard like the first cut.
When you get to the screen in Design Space where you have to select your material, there is also a section where you can select blade pressure. Hope this helps!
So I purchased mine today.. is the cutting mat a size 12..
I purchased black glitter smart vinyl...it did not have the white paper on the back, but had a clear plastic film on the front. I cut it, and it only cut the clear film

So the iron on process is the same way as the cricuit explore air 2 ? I just got the cricuit 3 yesterday .
How long do you hold the heat on the shirt to make sure it transfers well?
You will want to reference the heat guide for temp and time instructions, as it varies both with the material you are using and the material you are ironing onto.
I'm asking for one for my birthday, they actually are supposed to be out on the 28th which is my birthday.

Looks like a great machine. I am awaiting Maker 3 delivery. You’re projects are wonderful. You must let us know after delivery what you had. Blessings to you and the family. That is how I apply my transfer tape too.

These projects turned out so nice - have not purchased a new machine just yet - I am not so sure I would use all the features of the Maker 3 so when I do purchase I will get an Explore Air 3

those lovely colored pens you have in the mug, do you use those on your machine? I am trying to find pens to be able to use in my maker.
They are called Midliner pens, but they are not for the Maker. If you look at the video I posted today, I share what pens you can use in your machine!

Love these 4 projects. I am not sure if you know or someone already told you, but it is easier to weed on the mat. I do like weeding a lot, it does relaxes me, but I do not remove the material from my mat to weed it. Is like having a third hand.
You definitely can weed on a mat and I know many people absolutely love to! I actually purposefully avoid it, as I like having my material on a softer surface of my craft mat since it helps me navigate my weeding tool better. This is definitely just my personal preference though. :)
I tried weeding from my mat and couldn’t stand my hands sticking to the mat. I tried parchment paper on all areas my vinyl was not. Love it now!
