What do you mean "practically?" That IS Getter Emperor as it's evolved in a controlled environment. Getter Emperor is only so massive because of it's natural evolution. But "The Adapted Form of the Evolved One" is Getter Emperor through and through.

I would rock with this Getter moving forward. Armageddon was great but I think its time for that team to rest just like the Shin Mazinger team. This is SOLID as a unit on its own and surprisingly looks so amazing.
i was really hoping we'd get a 6 hearts as one stoner sunshine like in the manga where the future getter team co pilots with the devolution team future getter team is kinda based on the armageddon team so it could have worked perfectly also it would have been cool seeing the armageddon team in pilot suits
seeing this style of getter again is so refreshing, was hoping to see a change getter attack but it's still epic seeing something so close to the emperor also that getter 1 punch almost reminds me of ZERO's melee attack
Maybe next time it appears, units get new attacks between installments all the time I think, looking at Mazinemperor G’e Emperor Aureole and Might Gaine’s Joint Dragon Fire
I like that, for how long it's been, everyone who works on this series has agreed--with the exception of Go--to never try to make the Getter Robo combinations make any degree of mechanical sense.
It has been a while since the getter team has had a transforming robot. That is a bit strange thinking back on it. It even kept open get instead of flash in some games where the forms were only attacks.
I think its even longer since the last time we have playable unit of each Getter unit separated... Remember the old times where we have to deploy all three of them and then combine them into Getter Robo , and the command only available once all three of them had at least 120 morale. XD
With transforming robot, do mean A) a solid, non-combining robot which can only transform like Transformers B) a combining and transforming robot which, once combined, can shift between modes, like Dino Megazord from Power Rangers?
Despite my user name, I had to bench the Getter team in 30 because they weren't a Getter team and they weren't in a Getter Robo. If it doesn't open get, its not a true Getter, simple as.

"Voice acting isn't hotblooded enough" and "animations aren't dynamic enough" like guys were you expecting a perfect recreation of Shin Getter or older sounding VA's? As far as the voices go, they're playing HIGH SCHOOL AGE Getter Pilots, let me emphasize that. They're representing teens, not adults. You're not gonna get burly deep JoJo voices for a 16 year old, they're perfectly within the tonal range. As for the animations: it's a more mechanical Getter first and foremost, it's gonna be a little stiff. Plus this is one of MANY new additions in a $25 DLC add-on, they have to cut corners to fit the budget somehow. Maybe if they cut the new SRX attack or cut one of the new units we could have gotten a double Getter Beam. For the animated and voiced debut of Getter Devolution, especially on a budget, I'd give it a solid 4/5. Wish they did a couple things differently like give us Getter Change attacks for each version but oh well, them's the breaks.
Honestly the voice isn't an issue for me. It's the actual acting that does. I mean compare and contrast Devo-Ryoma and Armageddon-Ryoma when they both do Stoner Sunshine When former does it, it's "STONAAAAH. SUN. SHINE." When latter does it, it's "STOOONAAAAAAAAAAAAH SUUUUUUN SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE" Maximum ham for maximum effect. That's the way a Getter pilot should sound. Yuki Kaji just needed to ham it up a little.

Of course they would sound like if Eren, Reiner, and Falco was in a state of adrenaline. If Devo gets an anime, I wish they would: One, hire Jun Kawagoe and retcon the story, or two, change the story theme with a better thematic point of the story.

Only complaint is no change-Getter attack...and the weird axe minus a handle but I think that's more on the comic than the game. But it was fun seeing these three meeting the Armageddon trio.

This is the same animator as Mazinger/Kaizer/Mzero team which really made this Getter/Ryoma a badass because you really feel the impact of each attack. Young Ryoma, you have the permission to join the Mazinger team and do a dynamic special with them. Old Ryoma, please learn on how to use a proper Stoner Sunshine.
Ryoma's VA is the same as the MC from Highschool DxD and both this Getter and the Boosted Gear look pretty similar (like a dragon), is this a coincidence?
Possibly dlc since I think one more dlc pack is planned in future. If like this one where it added few new attacks for some prior mechs then they could still do that for getter devo. That or the next major srw console/pc title will have getter devo as main line and adapt their story in it.

A little miffed that Stoner Sunshine got into the game this way, but I'm still glad it came in anyway. My only real complaint is that Getter 2 and Getter 3 have a rather pitiful amount of attacks in comparison to Getter 1. And not even an Open Get combo attack.
Well they joined as guests so don't be harsh. It is better than our oldies shin getter and shin dragon by miles in all aspects. They definitely keeping all the major move for upcoming installments were they get their own plot and enemy. So let's be patient and enjoy this Getter for now.

- Those horns on the getter-1 are nice "Kurogane No Linebarrel" touches (same artist if i'm correct) - Nice theme, buuuut can't beat the Yuusou theme during the Stoner Sunshine move...ever.. - I like the look but in term of coolness the bat-like wing of the shin-getter are hard to beat.
It only exists in manga form. Good news is it's officially available in English!!! Buy it so they understand that there is a demographic for Getter Robo!
Pretty sure the next SRW will go for Arc, which has a great plot but frankly sucks in the animation department compared to what they've shown with Devo here.

I'm glad we got this unit as part of the DLC. Shin Getter Dragon's _okay,_ but a proper 3-form Getter Robo is just so much better.
Getter Devo and SHIN ZERO need to team up and create a new Final Dynamic Special for a new generation.

A little miffed that Stoner Sunshine got into the game this way, but I'm still glad it came in anyway. My only real complaint is that Getter 2 and Getter 3 have a rather pitiful amount of attacks in comparison to Getter 1. And not even an Open Get combo attack.
Well they joined as guests so don't be harsh. It is better than our oldies shin getter and shin dragon by miles in all aspects. They definitely keeping all the major move for upcoming installments were they get their own plot and enemy. So let's be patient and enjoy this Getter for now.

- Nice theme, buuuut can't beat the Yuusou theme during the Stoner Sunshine move...ever..

Pretty sure the next SRW will go for Arc, which has a great plot but frankly sucks in the animation department compared to what they've shown with Devo here.
