Looking good, but I never had to cook my wings on my Weber Performer with the volcano cone NEAR that long. I get about 180°F internal at the 25 to 30 minute mark.
I did wings tonight for dinner as well. The only thing I did different was use the TX Rub and The BBQ rub instead of the AP rub and hot rub and a little peach wood chips for a kiss of smoke.
Oh man the best way to cook chicken in parts vortex on Weber Kettle. I have a grill setup just for chicken where I got a 1/8 inch stainless cone for free that does awesome on chicken.
Malcolm, you's my main man and I follow you BUT, 🍗 needed just a little more time on the grill so that skin can crisp up AND when you ripped that wing apart, was a little pink on the inside. I definitely ain't hating bro.👍🍗🍽️
I've done this same cook except rather than Killer Hogs BBQ sauce I used that DC Mambo sauce. It's bangin' so I'm betting with the killer hog it's just as good.
I always make my wings on the Weber put a little buffalo seasoning on them and a little salt pepper garlic powder on them cooking for about an hour hour and a half get them nice and crispy and drowned them in a vat of hot sauce, butter and a few spices
Pam seriously Malcolm thought you were better than that. Don't need that stuff the salt will draw out moisture from the wings and that is what will adhere the spices.
That Vortex don’t play. I bought one a while back. Let’s just say you won’t be touching the grill top above it without gloves. *But it’s great for searing after cooking on indirect, or before. SUPER WHITE HOT
Looks good my man!! 🔥
Nicely done Malcolm. Enjoy.
❤❤❤Well done for posting
It really looks great summertime snack.
God Bless Friends!!!
Classic. Man i could go for some wings right now.
Excellent video. Quick and easy to follow. Need more wings on the grill for a greedy gut, lol

Same here
Love this video. The best part is the length. Some wing videos are 10-12 minutes. Way too long. Malcolm is the best.

Indirect wings on the Weber for about an hour. So simple. Set em and forget em. Perfect every time.
Yessir!
Man that grill looks clean
Fantastic, that was a new grill 😂😂😂. I do have problem with to much salt when using rubs. I have to use only one at a time
Thanks Malcom, the wings looked great. Fred.

I need the grill cleaning tutorial but I think that Weber is braaaaaand new.

No wood on top of the vortex??? Not like Malcom to skip the wood

Jesus, they say deep fried foods are unhealthy. I’m gonna deep fry my Will, those salty wings will kill me tomorrow.
The wings are looking salty. The man is Riles.
Will it be just as good as on my propane grill?
No
Anything on propane is inferior, sorry
No
It can be won't have the smoke flavor but it can be done
It would be better than almost anything you can get at a fast casual restaurant.
I know this man is a BBQ legend, but I feel like these wings would be salty
And not crispy at all
@@SPOILER750 that too
I feel like you don’t know what you’re talking about
A friend gave me one of these BBQ rubs, and there's surprisingly not much salt in those. The SPG would be needed, unless you're very salt sensitive.
The AP rub is VERY salty. I use it very sparingly before hitting my chicken thighs with the hot rub.
