I have read other comments that Marcelito Pomoy was a homeless kid who worked in a poultry farm when he started singing "The Prayer." He was separated from his family for a long time as a child. "The Prayer" lyrics is truly and genuinely in the heart of people like Marcelito who suffered in what seems to be a hopeless situation; and ask for God's grace to find a safe place and healing of a broken heart.
When a listener cries to a song, it just means the singer was able to convey the song's emotion and message perfectly that it touched the listener's heart. ❤

.....the man is SITTING DOWN!!! It’s hard enough to sing regularly that way, but, to pull it off with what he’s putting out with this breathtaking performance just leaves me utterly....utterly, dumbfounded!

I personally have a much easier time singing when I’m sitting down or laying down compared to when I’m standing up, but I know it’s VERY difficult for others. It’s a weird placement. It’s insanely impressive that he does it so impeccably.

MARCELITO'S STORY WILL BREAK UR HEART & THEN LIFT U UP. AT 7 HE WAS ALONE & LIVING ON THE STREETS. HE WAS HOMELESS FOR 17 YRS. HE RECEIVED LITTLE FORMAL EDUCATION & NO VOCAL TRAINING. HE IS JUST SO GIFTED.

But not everyone can sing a very good vocal and clean like marcelito
It is hard enough for most of the talented singers out there to be on stage and sing like Andrea Bocelli, it is also very hard to be on stage and sing like Celine Dion. It is extremely hard to sit and sing without showing any sign of effort, this man is doing all of the above, having a duet with him self , sited and effortless, matching not just the tone but also the voices of both artists. Amazing voice , incredible range and extreme control plus all that without any voice training or schooling.

yesssss..youre not alone , i once cry when i first heard that rendition..specially when i know that marcelito was homeless kid living alone apert rfom his family...but he was a gifted who try to earn a living by singing..not training , no school, vocal coach...he is singing with his heart, a way in communicating to other people....i was once a singer musician before a;so to earn for food,, and i feel what marcelito feel...but im happy for him now...i was also feel what you are feeling, because a true singer are happy when she sees someone shine through singing, and beautifully done..God bless you..
