A special coin to some one is only what the buyer is willing to pay . Need Kew gardens etc to fill your set or book good luck finding one under £300 grrrr my ocd keeps me from keeping them as I’ll never have a full set . Now try buying a full set 😳.

If it was a mint condition coin in packaging, those were sold for £10 new so £9 is about right. If it's a coloured silver proof, those were worth about £60 new and may have actually increased in price due to demand. If it was a normal, bog standard circulating 2016 Peter Rabbit then it's worth 50p to maybe a pound, and the shopkeeper was an idiot...

If its the writing being the wrong way round and it missing dots they are not errors they are just the way they are. Its 50/50 on the writing and most £2 coins have dots missing.
There should be a card for the Olympics 50ps but from the march update I will be adding them to the 50p video, I think the duck is more than the newton is because of how popular it is but the newton price is starting to go up.

The thing with eBay is you can put any price to any thing. 99% of what's on there will never sell at the price listed.

Just seen a bag of newtons sell for £55 and singles selling at £3 each so the price is rising.
Vermilion Studios Newton is the kind of coin that anyone will find and think, wow and keep it so I can see the value rising quite a lot.
