I would like to speak to the genius who designed a laptop so poorly, the computer not only has to be disassembled, but you must watch a movie to do it.
They do it on purpose 1) to save a few cents in manufacturing, 2) to save a few dollars in consumer-friendly design, 3) to add a bit of "built-in obsolescence" -- most folks have to buy a whole new laptop once the battery dies. So they basically love $$ more than the earth.

@@s_mai8970 Ford once made a Van that it was so difficult to replace the spark plugs, that they recommended removing the engine, first, to replace spark plugs. Guess what! They dont make that van any more. I wonder why? In the case of this laptop, buying one where it takes dissabling the computer to replace the battery is a similar maintenance failure, a good reason not to buy the computer.

Yes! Thank you! It’s working again. Nothing would load no programs would load. Now after unplugging the battery for 60 seconds everything is working again. Nice!
Excellent tutorial. Thanks. Easy. BTW, I did not need to detach the wire attached to the back panel. There is enough wire to simply lay the back panel behind the laptop while the wire remains attached. The replacement battery for the Acer E15 E5-573 is the AL15A32.

Excellent video. You forgot to show some screws being removed in the beginning, but in the end you show all being reinstalled. Love the way you showed the proper way to remove the bottom plastic, so you it isn't damaged.
Great Video! Perfection. I have this same exact laptop and was wondering why they didn't make it easy to remove the battery. Mine didnt have stickers on the bottom either, but everything else seems to match up . Thanks for good details as to not break the connectors.

Hoky Smokes...Glad I watched this video..My previous Toshiba laptop had two flip switches at the back that you could remove in literally 5 seconds! Acer needs to improve their design.
Needed to do a battery replacement formy mother, and was absolutely stumped in getting the back off. I've worked on a fair few laptops and never seen one where I had to remove the DVD drive first. Thank you so much from both her and I x

I have a question though, sir. Is it possible for the laptop to run while plugged in without the battery?
My laptop battery has shown its age and is giving me problems when it gets "confused" whether or not to use the battery and ends shutting down by force.
I've used this laptop for 8 years without the battery. It's always connect to a socket so I never had use for the battery.

Question. In my instruction manual it says to calibrate the battery every 3 months. Is that necessary?
How long does the replacement battery lasts without connected to charger?
When I press the power button, the screen does not respond, but the lamp that usually ignites when the computer is ignited remains ignited and turns off for several times, then turns off. Could it be that the battery was the cause, knowing I've never had this before.

Is it possible to run the laptop without the battery, as long as you have it plugged in?
Yes, it should run without battery when connected to adapter and plugged in. I have tried and it works fine... but if there is frequent power failure and laptop is shutdown improperly then there are chances for HDD/SSD to generate bad sector and corrupt files.
If there is no power failure then no worries.

Yes. Any laptop can run without a battery. You just need to plug in the charger all time. However, be careful with the charger as if it got pulled off, the laptop will die-losing all unsaved work or data.

Hi, If your laptop is not working even on AC adapter then before replacing the battery please check what is the real fault(you can get it checked by laptop repair technician). Replace the battery if there is any notification(when the laptop starts working) or if the battery backup is very low.

Hi. A quick question: can you use the laptop with these batteries taken off so only on the DC? Technically should work. Right?

Hi, yes , we can use laptop only on adaptor without battery provided mains current should not fail which can cause severe damage to HDD and unsaved work.
Take care and do it on your own risk.
If the adaptor shorts down may be some component on motherboard failed due to which adaptor enters into protection mode.

Unfortunatelly turned it is not the battery that is shorted.
Motherboard works fine. (When was on battery only windows runs nicely)
I made many tests, one is this:
Battery off, DC 19volts measured with a tool on the adaptor so it is alive, then w plugged into to laptop , not turned off just waiting 10 seconds, then unplug DC from it , measure it and result is that adaptor went safe off mode so no DC from it.
Then adaptor unplug from 220vs , plug back , DC 19vs there again.
So.
Somewhere before the motherboard something died in the laptop and definitely not the battery (cause wasnt even in during the test)

What happen if i somehow broke the small connector (from casing to board)? Will my laptop not working?
I try open my laptop, cleaning the fan, then when I want assemble it back somehow the laptop won't work. I push the power button but not working. Then I try to connect with power supply, then it is working. Can anybody tell what's wrong? I think the small connector is faulty because I put it back quiet harshly but it is still in contact no wire broken. But I worried it has broken inside. Can someone help me 😣😣😣
Update: once I push the power button it start for a second then stop with a click sound 😥😥
Update: I don't think it's the small connector's problem. I think it's the fan problem 😣 the fan only spin for a while then stop. It is the fan's fault? How do I know the fan is broken or I make a mistake during assembling?

Why did they make the battery so damn difficult to remove in this model??? I've never had a laptop with a battery this difficult to remove. Ridiculous!!!! If you manufacturers think I'm gonna buy another new laptop to replace a battery it sure as hell ain't gonna be another one with a hidden battery like this. You trying to rip off the consumer is going to backfire, HARD.
