I've always thought of Kikwang as the most charming and handsome member. Dongwoon sure is handsome in a Western style, still Kikwang is the one who draws my attention and makes me squeal because of his looks all the time. I hope he'll gain more confidence in the future :")

He needs to have more than one facial expression though to be great at it, but he's young so he can work on it.

First time watching Dongwoon & am amused by his confidence. He didn't seem smug or bragging or full-of-himself to me. It seems like it's just his own character, a person who is plain honest about acknowledging who and how he is. Some people has the same confidence but is really annoying, but something about Dongwoon that makes me think he's not boasting. Anyway, he is very interesting to watch & like JaeSuk said, he's different ^^
Aigoo Kikwang ahh.. How can you not like your face when I'm over here and am freaking obsess to look at your face?! You have such perfect features especially that smile and eyes of yours and you're not only handsome, you're also way more gorgeous than any girls out there! My mind was like literally blown away the moment he open his mouth and say "Omma..". I was like 'whoa! Where did adorable Kikwang go?' He's an awesome actor and he should get more lead roles for drama series!! Dongwoon and his confidence totally nailed it and Yoseob with his dish at the end.. I would actually vote for his dish though cause it's simple and I love cheese so he should win! ^^
I just love all the guys from Beast, all of them are so handsome, but Kikwang is definitely my bias in this group, he's so sexy, even the way he says that word, and modest, I also just love his red hair, although he looks good in any hair style. Now moving on to Yoseop, he's so adorable, I just want to wrap him up and carry him in my purse lol, and Dongwoo even though usually guys that say what he say I want to slap, with him it's nothing but the truth, love you beast, wish the other three would've been there as well
My face when Kikwang called him self ugly -> -_- Someone please tell me he's kidding? It sometimes irks me that people who have gifted looks call themselves ugly. My friend was just like that, but now she's gained a lot more confidence (not in an egoistic way). Like hon, there are people who would do anything to have your face.
Now that I watched further, I'm confused. So he was joking when he called himself ugly. That's good.
Okay I seriously don't get why people are so upset about Dongwoon. I'm don't really follow beast enough to if he's actually egoistic, but from what I've seen, he's only being confident. Why is that such a bad thing? He's not putting other people down. All he is doing is be positive about himself.
Kikwang doesn't have confidence in his looks. No he isn't kidding. They probably are bashing him cause he usually doesn't talk much about his looks. I for one don't care about if they he keeps saying he's handsome cause he is. Kikwang has always thought that he's ugly, he's slowly becoming confident

I love Dongwoon's confidence. He really is handsome. I hope he can be actor in k-dramas too.
Kikwang thinks he's ugly and that's his opinion of himself. Tons of people do not like themselves and he's just not confident in his looks because let's face it, in Korea, beauty standards are narrow and it's not weird to see them be so self-conscious. Dongwoon is joking around but he knows he's good-looking and he flaunts what his mama gave him. He's confident in his looks and he likes his face - that's something wonderful. Not enough people like themselves and openly say so. People get turned off by people who accept themselves like Dongwoon does. I think it's pretty cool and people should do it more. Love yourselves. I mean, don't be conceited but also don't put yourself down.
+heyjk096 Kikwang is just weird. I watched almost all his shows. I watched Win Win just for him, a lot of guests on that show praised him for his good looks. I don't know why he still thinks he's the ugliest in beast (or maybe he's just being humble) when a lot of people think he's one of the most good looking members. putting oneself down (not just physically) is part of Korean culture in order to establish your humility and avoid seeming arrogant. you will often see people take attention off themselves by saying they didn't do well or that they are not as good at something in order to make it clear they aren't bragging about the achievements they made

Idk if it's just me (well opinions differ pls don't judge me) but when I first discovered Beast, I was a little late, I only focused on them during 1230 promotions. But the person who caught my attention as in, "wow, he's so handsome.." Was actually Yoseob. I noticed him first before noticing the other members, who, ofcourse, are all bloody handsome. I won't deny that. But for me Yoseob's the best looking, like even though he's small, he has this look in his eyes, and he gives off this charming aura for me. He's not a 100% cutie, bcs half the time I think he's pretty manly. It's just that it's always covered because his face is small and cute? I think? I still think he's handsome though. When I read comments about him, I actually got surprised when this opinion is so unpopular, and people kept praising his cuteness. I won't blame anyone though haha he is so small 😂

Me too, but that was in 2010 when they promote beautiful. He was on my timeline (a fantaken), and I was like "woww so handsome, who is he?" I did't know kpop back then LOL. I though that he is younger or the same age as me, I was 16. But he's actually 4 years older :D. If you see him on that era he really was cute, but he is officially retired from his cute image now.. hahaha.. Since then I am trapped on this kpop world, I find no exit.
ALYA NABILAH KHAIRUZZAMAN Yoseob started his career with cute image as the company wanted it since the other members couldn't act cute at all (so he decided that he would be the one to do it), so Dujun and Kikwang used to be my bias. but his image totally change since he did boxing, lose all his chubby cheek and get more toned body, and get this sexy aura instead (especially after Yey performance). Now I can't take my eyes off of him during all Beast performance 😂😂😂😂😂 *help*. Yoseob look so handsome and different now along with Junhyung after he lost weight (his face look so much toned like Yoseob than they were used to be). I agree with you that many people still call him cute instead of handsome and I'm wondering why. Maybe because even though he doesn't really like to act cute nowadays, he is just naturally cute with his body movement and face expression (sometimes) just like Dujun and Junhyung who are naturally cute with their awkwardness even if they are not trying to be cute

Realistically Yoseob's dish and Ujin's dish are really easy to make. Unlike previous dishes on the show, all the ingredients can be found in your home! (well maybe not seaweed) I made them right after watching this episode and they're quite good :)

When you live in a society that is very hard on a certain set of looks being the ideal, it's not surprising even currently attractive people would feel ugly. Also when people perceive themselves as ugly, although other people may see differently, the person themselves see something completely different when looking in the mirror. Being an idol, you are known to be perfect so I'm not surprise he nitpicks himself. (Think of all the idols who are popular but then somewhere later when they are more popular and have money, they do more surgical procedures.)

I don't think idols will ever outwardly tell a fan after they compliment them that "No, I'm ugly." since it'd be rude. It's sort of how everyone has insecurities. Like I'm totally accepting of my body and I can't change it (unless I invest in surgery but I most likely won't). I find ways to celebrate my looks but you now sometimes, you just look in the mirror and you're like "WOW. I'm...ugly." -shrug- I'm sure there are times where he's like "I'm pretty hot." Also he seems pretty humble, so he's pushing his members to the front since like they said, he used to be solo and usually has the most attention via TV and amt. of fans from the beginning. ^^
