You don’t put the corrugated sheet in until locked down. So, when you stop turning your eggs depending on the species are incubating, remove all of them and remove the turning tray. Then put the corrugated disc in and replace the eggs on it to use as a hatching mat
The tray that comes with the model I purchased has the 14 standard size chicken egg slots and bantam egg slots on the inner. Just purchase your eggs accordingly.

jade tree thanks, I read the directions everywhere and nowhere did it say when to use them. Obviously my first time trying this out.
