Cafe du Monde is the best donut in the States! No one can replicate this donut. Tried to find something similar in New York, even tried other places in NOLA. No comparison.
@hashh2019 May I ask what you consider the best in the States? Even the French tries to replicate this and their donuts are absolutely fantastic, too, but unsuccessful because something in the NOLA cottonseed oil. They can take the seed to France but still can not be exactly be replicated...in my opinion, of course ***Not science or by award winning standards***
Oh one other thing, New Orleans was one of the first places to find the first apartment buildings. It was in the french quarter, located in jackson square. Built by a lady named Pontalba.
For those not familiar with the term CBD it stands for Central Business District. thx for the informative video. I plan to move back to the quarter in the next five years. If your still available, I'll look you up.
Hi Raylin! I think the first step would be to figure out what companies in the CBD interest you. From there, I would apply online or call the office to see if they're hiring and schedule an interview. 😊
Its all touristy now, over priced, nothing is real , all for tourist. The real New Orleans is gone, time gone by. Old nola wasn't that great either. Used to visit kin in the 60's the Quarter was nasty . Buildings falling in. What is now Jaxs Brewery mall was a boarded up brown stone warehouse, hobos sleeping in doorways, trash on the streets. 1980 I knew soneone who lived in the Quarter in an 1800's apartment tall ceilings and doors. That was kind of cool
