i have just picked up the same machine..the needle bar and the needle clamp both have a small hole that does line up...but i have no screw bolt..should there be one ? the needle clamp will move front to back or up and down..with out the bolt it is possible for the clamp to spin and have a needle hit the feed dog..can someone guide me on this. thank you
My bobbin cases can spin freely and the gear that make them spin isn’t loose or has a loose screw. It also will turn in correct timing but you could easily turn the bobbin case back a couple degrees and throw it out of timing. What is making bobbin case able to turn freely
I wish I could tell ya.. it's been so man years since I took mine apart. I actually need to finish putting it back together soon here. I'll watch this video again tonight and see if I can spot anything and/or maybe in a few days I can take a look at mine (it's out in the garage, waiting to be sold or packed up for the move).
The bobbin case should spin freely inside the hook assembly. The needle plate should have little protrusion on either side to lock/set the bobbin tab into in order to keep it in place.
I checked my order history on Amazon and found this "singer belt 193066". You can also search the name of your machine on ebay and you might have some luck.
No, but I'm about to get back to working on this machine. I'm not 100% sure what you mean regarding the top rod of the needle? Can you be more specific? Maybe I can take a look at my machine and see if I can help you figure something out.
Ray Nada im sorry dont now to much the names of the maching but i think is the needle bar , its way off location tours front of the needle holes ,the needle touches the throat plate . An dont nowhow to adjust it back thank you in advance
I have this same model and spent allot of time and energy trying to get that second bobbin rig to drop. Good work, I hope your project came out nice.
I love the old Singer 111s the only thing wrong was their pissy little bobbins, but were a great producer of work in their day and still well liked!
Hello Ray.
just picked up one of these exact same as yours. Please keep posting; I need help.
