I always hear about the redfish madness on cold weather in Hopedale, Louisiana but this is the first time experiencing it. And yes, it was madness. Would have been better if I came early but didn't get there till 11am. I waited even longer before casting because it was a little crowded. Too many lines were in the water for one spot but that was the only hot spot that day on the bank I assumed. I waited until there was an opening in the crowd and it was game on from there. Had a blast with the other fishermen. Most fishermen were having success catching redfish using dead shrimp on the bottom. I was testing out the new Marsh Demon Lures and it was a success. Had the lure on a 3/8 ounce jig head, let it hit the bottom and just barely bouncing it. Before you know it, fish on!!!

I have never seen so many redfish caught in one day. I live in Florida, so there is not as many redfish as their are in Louisana. Great video btw!

About 50 yards from that little bridge on hopedale hwy. Good only when it's really cold I think.
