Magpie Mine Northern Lights

When on the 10th May 2024 the Northern Lights became strongly visible at our home we took some photos then headed off to Magpie Mine in the Peak District of Derbyshire. We missed the strongest part, but got some lovely images - and if nothing else saw the lights first hand.
We decided to go back on the 11th even though the forecast was for quite dense cloud cover and lower activity and took the van in case we decided to stay overnight.
Sadly the forecasts were correct - but here's a short video of the adventure and some of the images we took the night before.
