I am trying to Hitchhike Around The Globe. I literally want to circumnavigate the planet without using any means of public transportation.
From my hometown Tübingen in Germany I will hitchhike through Europe looking for an opportunity to help out on a private sailing boat to cross the Atlantic to the Caribbean and Central America.
From there I have to catch another boat over the vast Pacific ocean in order to reach the Asian continent to complete my journey by hitchhiking back to my hometown in Germany.

11 years .... i am really surprised how i did it !
I'm backpacking around the globe. Left UK April 2019 and I did 12 Countries and over 22.000kms in 2020. Worked in Osnabruck Germany for 6 months. Could have done a lot more countries if covid wasn't here. I don't do videos like this as I'm not as handsome as this guy. I don't hitchhike I train, bus and walk. I have no plans and just go with the flow and how I feel that day. Ten stuck in Southern Spain since October. Been bad weather here for a couple of weeks. Currently in my tent in a closed restaurant on the beach. 👍😊

Completely agree, I'm a Portuguese also in Portugal and I'm going crazy. These lookdowns are destroying so many small businesses that took entier lives to build.. The riches will get richer and the poor will get poorer, once again

Selbst wenn ich zu Hause festsitze, kann ich einen ganzen Tag damit verbringen, die Ameisen oder eine Spinne zu beobachten, die das Netz webt, oder wie sie sagen, einfach das Gras wachsen zu sehen. Sie werden erstaunt sein, wie viel uns diese kleinen Dinge lehren. Nur diese freien Sterblichen zu beobachten, gibt mir die Hoffnung.

Dear Jojo
The pandemic is hard. It seems that you are in a somewhat existential battle between your positive outlook on life, and the limits to your freedom, that life is right now putting on you. As it is to us all. It sure seems like the lockdown Portugal i tough, but as i recall so has the impact of the virus been. I hope you can stay on that middle road and not let the hardship take to much of a toll on your faith i life and in people. This situation winot continue forever. You will get around the world if you want to, but its quite clear, that freedom doesnt equal being in control.

When you hit a wall ! Just keep walking forward even if it's only to the next Wall ! .Go through it, climb over it, tunnel underneath it. If only mentality, just keep moving forward !

Jojo, the situation is going to get much worse. Your money is going to run out. Figure out something that you can do online to make money. Travel, advice, adult porn, anything because getting a job in COVID times is nearly impossible. The other option you have is to return to Germany but I'm not sure if the country offers any type of help with your financial situation and housing costs money. Do you have relatives who will take you in? Keep in mind that most countries restrict entry due to COVID. The U.S.A. has not done so but Canadian border is closed. Let us know how you're doing by updates. Best of luck to you.

Sitting, waiting, wishing... I am in the same situation :) Quit my job a year ago just before everything started or became to get serious. Lets hope in the second half of the year we will be in a better position will all the vaccines rolling out currently! Stay negative ;)
If injecting a substance should be the condition and only way back to freedom then I am not sure if I want to be a part of that brave new world.

Watching from Canada we have been in strict lock down for second time from December 26, 2020 till March 7,2021. Starting March 8th we will be in grey zone so more stores will open up with strict 25% capacity rules and everyone still have to wear masks indoors in public places. Restaurants will still remain take-out only with dining inside. Salons and personal care will still be closed I could use a hair cut.
How do you feel with all of that? 😊
@@JojoAigner The lockdown was a benefit allowing me to work from home for almost 1 year. Saved me travel time commuting to the office in rush hour traffic. I'm not complaining as I can still work and did not lose any income. Many people in Canada lost income that worked in service jobs or owned business that had to be shut down. I feel bad for the people who lost their businesses and had to go bankrupt as a result of this lockdown. I am sad about all the people who lost there lives around the world from this corona virus.

I am having fun in corona time because I can be alone with myself and read books and study and debate and do researches... it's so fun to learn about history, philosophy, religion, psychology, and etc. But it seems you are having so many difficulties that you cant move. You repeat that many times its such difficult times. No it is not for those who can have fun with knowledge and can be alone with themselves...

Jojo. Your my words exactly, were not alone, but we are the very few who speak out.. And we should not be scared to, in this world where the masses have been brainwashed.. They have literally took are freedom, but have done it in such a way, the people have just let it happen..and even encourage it. Its so fu ked up.

my local litter picking group I joined last year had gone from 1000 to 5000 people... Its so amazing, 6000 bags of rubbish collected in one month.. Then back in November, I grew some balls, quit my job and started my own business, and it couldn't be going better,, its gave me so much free time.. So I can now pick more litter.. I still long for the day I can climb a mountain again.. But if we can find hope in the smallest of things, and do the things we can do.. Then may be were still free...

In Israel Händelt man die Korona Krise besser, sollten andere Staaten und Gesellschaften sich zumindest in Teilen ein Vorbild nehmen, anderer seits gibt es Menschen die Urlaub auf Sansibar machen als ob's kein Corona gäbe. Aber viel Glück und hoffe das es für euch in den nächsten Wochen zu neuen Ufern geht

@@st3231 California is a frickin mess. People are leaving it in droves right now. The governor (Gavin Newsom) there seems to be in a competition with a couple of other governors in our country. To see which one can be more corrupt then each other. Which one is the least caring, and to see who can screw up the state they govern the most. I think him, and Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, are neck and neck for the title right now. I think Abbott will eventually win, but only because he's a Republican, and Newsom may end up in jail soon. Or at least having to resign in disgrace (he won't feel disgraced because he has no shame, just the people will, of course). But Yea, as crazy as the rules sound in Portugal right now. Anyplace not run by that clown has to be better. Unless you're a rich white dot com guy that is. Then you're all set. Everyone else is SOL!

@@st3231 They're all either committed to lining their pockets with as much paper as they can, and gaining as much power as they can. Or both. Usually both. The destruction of region they control is just the natural result of a crooked, greedy, and/or stupid leader.
For any state, country, business, organization, etc. to thrive. It needs an intelligent, caring, and committed leader. Without that. The results are always the same. Abject failure.
And it's universal, because human nature is universal. And it's human nature to be selfish, self centered, and greedy. These are natural survival instincts. But a healthy society, with healthy families can easily overcome these issues through education, discipline, and love. And rise above them. For the most part. They'll of course always be a percentage of people that only care about themselves. This is why good people must remain ever vigilant, and can never rest.
