I used to dislike Sholmes because he didn't make any sense in his deductions. What kind of great detective does that? Then the last case came and hoo boy I did a complete 180. Turns out, he really is as good as tales says he is. He was just dumbing down to let Naruhodo find the truth by himself, his inventions are far from useless, and in the last case he KNEW you couldn't win without pulling some strings, which he did for him. Sholmes was just a bored god.
Herlock Sholmes is a top 5 Ace Attorney character for me. Regardless of the case or situation, Sholmes makes it’s so much more enjoyable. He’s also very well layered and written. He’s known as the Great Detective for a reason.

Before you say Holmes is copyrighted, only 9 of his stories are under copyright at the time of the game's release. Holmes himself has been Public Domain in Great Britian and North America since 2000… but for some stupid reason, Holmes’ developed personality traits are copyrighted.

@@existentialdread2054 Context matters here, basically mikotoba ate something that sherlock wanted to eat, so the words here should be interpreted as "i will eat you along with that thing i wanted to eat" meant probably as a joke. Neither mikotoba nor Sholmes are her biological dad, she is adopted by sholmes, Iris thought that Mikotoba was her dad but it's not true, the truth about that is revealed later.
