  • What's up guys, subscribe if you're new - & Thanks for tuning in. This video today is going to attempt to show you guys how to change your front and rear brakes. It was extremely Difficult for me since it is the first pair of brakes I changed AND i didnt get the OEM brackets to make placing the pad in easier. However I got them done and the brakes themselves are definitely worlds better than the Hawk 5.0s I had earlier and the OEM Pads. They are just way too dusty and they didn't last long (10K miles lol) lets see if these hold up longer despite my driving. So far I've had WAY less brake dust after washes show up and when I slow down from 160 MPH+ from Strip Days I notice less fade.

Really really nice man, can deal with a little more heat than oem or Hawk 5.0 imo (don’t ask me how I know lol) and the brake dust is IMMENSELY less.

They are expensive as shit! But damn do I love these brakes lol. The brake dust is just way better than any other pad I’ve had.

They make some of the best pads for street use.

I think you can turn the wear sensor off with VCDS. At least I was able to on my 2014.

lol I been owning this car since day 1 I got 120,000 2019 you just don’t know what’s coming. Get ready to change the belt and water pump oil filter housing and turbos wastegate will rattle soon. Also stop changing your oil at 10,000 don’t be an idiot

Isn't that the case with all cars over 100k?

Pads and rotors for an s5 are around $2k at the dealership. I've done brakes on cars before, but this seems more difficult due to technology and electronics.

I’ll be honest I’m sure this is way more difficult than my wife’s Jetta but we’ll see when it’s time 🤣

@ItzGRenn I'd do anything to save that 2k, but I think I'll have to pay them. Luckily the brakes do last a while. I got it used, but I think brakes are original and have 50k miles and still ok.

Pads are fine to change but honestly when my rotors get to 50k I’d like to change them
