- In this interaction with TNIE Kerala, Kochi city police commissioner S. Syamsundar, IPS, says that Kerala Police has geotagged over 600 goons in the state and has marked them on Google Maps. Syamsundar also says that police officers visit the homes of 30-35 goons daily to keep them under strict surveillance. He assures that the goondas in Kerala are under stringent surveillance.

സംഭവമെല്ലാം കൊള്ളാം സർ, ഈ night duty അടക്കം വർക്ക് എല്ലാം ചെയ്യുന്ന പോലീസ്‌കാർക്ക് work-life balance, mental health സപ്പോർട്ട് കൊടുക്കാൻ എന്താണ് പോലീസ് ന്റെ senior management ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്ന് കൂടി പറയണം.
ഇതെല്ലാം ഓരോ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടികളുടെ ഒത്താശയോടെ ആണ് നടക്കുന്നത്. നാട്ടിലെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ മനോഭാവത്തിൽ മാറ്റം വരാതെ ഒന്നും നടക്കില്ല.

What he has done when a new born baby was thrown out off a flat in Cochi by an affluent lady recently? Soon after identifying the killer lady he named her as a victim of sexual assault because of her family's political influence and thereafter we havent heard anything about her. Her entire story swept under the carpet by the media also. The same thing is going to happen in the case of goondas and drug mafias. He can target only those who are not with political backing. He can't do anything the other groups with formidable political backing.

Such a shame, to have a police force incompetent or incapable. They don't really have to fear, yet they fear for their life and hesitate to take proper action.
