The very top section of the Osprey trail is closed for logging at the moment and is my favourite bit of the lot... hoping it's still through the trees when it finally reopens. The section opposite the log pile that you said you didn't remember is the "Osprey Chick" diversion. 4:59 got to admit i was so annoyed when i got to the top last time (as i had missed the sign saying it was shut) that i just climbed the fence and did it anyway 🤷🏻♂️it was Sunday and i saw no one, and more importantly no logging
i read that the dhf has a gap in the lean so you have to get it right over to hit the side knobs. i cant lean it that good yet and keep hitting the gap with no grip!!. changed it now anyway for a conti argotal!!
About the comments on your tyres, try upping the pressures. I was running my enduro settings on the e bike at 24r/21f and twice i dismounted/burped the from tyre in high speed turns. now im running 31r/26f and its a massive difference! more stability and easier to feel the breakaway when it loses grip
Do you still have the Nuke proof Gordy? Since Ive gotten the e bike, all I've done is service the dropper and clean the bike. Actually put it up for sale as i really dont think id use it for anything more than a recce on tech trails at new spots in case i bin it on the ride :)
Alright mate Ive still not made it to Keilder this year to be honest this year has been a wright of for a lot of things. I'm still getting out on the bike but just local stuff for the odd hour or two. I would of done more chopwell but last time i spent a stack of time stuck in traffic coming home due to the continued carnage on the a1. Didn't your garmin come with the other mount like I have on my bike? As for riding alone its something I actually prefer I think. A solo ride allows you to do your own thing without any pressures from others . Yes i've met some great people through riding as a group but unfortunately i've found that some people can are quite judgmental and have got tired of some of the comments and snobbery i've experienced. For me getting out on the bike is a break from the weekly pressures and grind and I just wasn't enjoying it quite as much when riding with others. Getting back to the garmin, I did make a video but never got round to publishing it . I set out on a ride but deliberately ignored the directions to test how it would re route me to my original course and it did a great job. | did this under controlled conditions as a test for when out in more remote areas.
hi mate, goo to hear from you. yea solo riding is nice!! i do like a bit of both though, i still really enjoy being out with the lads . my garmin did come with another mount but i couldnt find the bands to attach it lol. keep riding buddy, i'm sure we will get out toghether again at some point!!
170!!! i'm sure i read the bike was designed around 170 but lower spec just got 160. though i felt the bike was really nicely balance on 160. when i went 170 i ended up changing spacers under stem to bring bars back down to where they were when i had the 160 on!.
Just reading the comments before replying, was going to say go conti, I’ve just swapped my stock maxxis for contis agrotal, shocked at the difference and how crap the maxxis were. Hope you enjoy

Hey, im currently debating on replacing the rockshox silver tk on the 23 h20. Should i go 160mm with the zeb select+ or 170mm?

@@DownhillDesireMTB thanks for the response. Just found your channel last night and subscribed. Keep up the good work.
Hey Gordy. I love kielder. Only been once but planning on going back next year. Can I just ask, what garmin are you using?
hey Simon, it's the 530, if i upgrade i would defo go touch screen! this is a bit of a pain cycling through menus with buttons!!
@DownhillDesireMTB well if you do ever decide to upgrade let me know how much you want for the 530 👍🤘
@@simonssillystunts will do, but not on cards to sell at moment🙂
Get yourself a magic mary on the front and a big betty on the rear, thank me later!
