Outstanding video work. I was spell bound watching. Very professional and entertaining. All the MCs captured the human interest angle of the climb.

The skills they are learning can possibly save their lives one day if in a situation like that on a mountain. I use to be on C-141 aircraft flying from San Bernardino, California to Tacoma, Washington and the airplane crew would fly around Mt. St. Helens to check to see if the lava was building up to a dangerous level after the explosion there. I remember some of the earlier trips and the ground looking real bad, then a year later seeing the trees and grass looking normal again. That was remarkable at how the ground changed so quickly and was back to normal.

My friend and I RAN up St. Helens (although of course it was more of a shuffle in comparison to everyone else we were running) and it was a blast but my entire body hurt for days afterwords. We speed climbed Mt. Rainier a month later and I feel like St. Helens was harder.

For a bunch people who live and work at sea level to even attempt mountaineering is commendable.

Maybe b/c I grew up in MN and WI, snowboarding, snow hiking, sledding, ice racing, etc. but they complain a lot about the snow LOL, I hiked a small mountain in colorado during Feb, so I know they're beat but all I hear is "I hate snow"

To try and not make it is still successful. The whole point was to have some fun.

The climb leader had made it too easy for people to quit. He said don't push it or you will hurt yourself. These are young and relatively fit people, climbing 6000ft the way they do, they will not hurt themselves. The worst is they will not reach the top in time before they need to turn around. Some people need to be pushed or they will quit way too soon. People not carrying enough water, wearing wrong types of clothes, these are all the fault of the climb leaders. They need to check these kinds of things to increase the chance of success.
