SUMMARIES:
- McDonald's charged ahead in 2009 with its introduction of the Angus Burger, the first big chain to offer a genuine Angus beef patty.
- The Big N' Tasty burger became one of the key items on McDonald's dollar menu when it was first introduced, but in 2003 it was removed from the dollar menu, where the double cheeseburger took its place.
- Premium Mcwraps were introduced in 2013 and were touted as "Subway busters" However, McDonald's apparently over estimated millennials' desire for lighter fare at the fast food chain and had to eat its words.
- A lot of people actually enjoyed the McStuffins, the 4 varieties they came in were unique and all had fans.
- McDonald's tried a McLobster Roll, and that didn't go very well, so the fast food chain decided to double down with the introduction of its McCrab cake sandwich.
- There is the Roast Beef sandwich that was meant to compete with Arby's, a restaurant well known for roast beef sandwiches - this is what Arby's does.
- McSalad Shakers were introduced in the U.S. market in 2000 and they were supposed to give customers a healthier option, The failed salad in a cup idea makes sense only as a matter of convenience because you could try to eat them while you're driving your car, but why would you want to?
- The Cheddar Melt is pretty popular with a certain segment of the public even though it hasn't been around in a while.
- Onion Nuggets preceded Chicken McNuggets at McDonald's.
- The Chopped Beefsteak Sandwich seems like it should have been a winner.

My aunt always called it the “Big n Nasty” lol because she hated the burger but my cousin (her daughter) loved it so when she would order at the counter she would always call it “Big n Nasty” which was always hilarious

Man, the Big N Tasty and the Sweet Chili Chicken Wrap were my go-to orders back in the day.
I remember my mother ordering the Angus burger. She liked it very much. The onion nuggets sound great, too. If Arby’s can sell onion rings, why can’t McDonalds sell onion nuggets?

Personally, #BabbleTop I preferred the Angus burger. The price wasn't an issue to me. Kinda wish we still had it.

I tried the $1 grilled onion cheddar burger when it was out.I asked them to make it like a McDouble but ended up doing it myself.Not bad,but not great.The cheddar cheese sauce was not like Arby’s.It was bland and not sharp.

Here in Brazil we still have Cheddar Melt (here called Cheddar McMelt) since the 90's one of the best sellers in our market, some Cheddar products come in 2019 like: Double Cheddar Mc Melt (2 hamburgers), Super French fries (French fries+Cheddar+bacon). Come to Brazil and enjoy all Cheddar you can!

Over the years McDonald's has become a very successful business selling billions of decent hamburgers at reasonable prices. Many of the company's menu items were failed miserably in the fast food industry such as McWrap, McLobster, McPizza, Big n' Tasty, McStuffin, Angus Burger, McDLT, McLean Deluxe, McCrab Cake, Roast Beef, Chopped Beefsteak and Cheddar Melt Sandwiches, McSpaghetti, McSalad, Hot Dog, Onion Nuggets etc. Anyway the company had finally learned their lesson and the rest is history.
To be honest the McWrap was always my go to pick at mcdonalds, i loved it aloooot , I never asked with sauce cause i eat healthy and it was only what i would pick for my cheat meals. when they took it out of the menu and putted a small version on the breakfast options broke my heart 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the love putted on that wrap was never the same

They still do the McWrap in the UK (at least before Covid forced a limited menu) and they are my favourite thing on the menu.

I have never seen you talked about the Bratwurst Sandwich that McDonald's had a short period of time each year ( I believe during the summer months) in the Midwest USA. Don't know if they still have it because I no longer live in the Midwest.

I don’t understand why the Big N Tasty was removed from the menu. It was basically Mc Donald’s version of the Jumbo Jack. Does Mc Donald’s even have a traditional burger anymore??

Here in Germany they call the Big Tasty, big Tasty Bacon and it was a Limited time Burger then somewhere between 2016 and 2017 it was added to the normal Menue.

Notice premium burgers don't do good at McDonald's. Customers want mediocre food at low ball prices
I think they should give the onion nuggets another try at McDonald's but if McDonald's brings back the onion nuggets they probably be out for a limited time.

the mc wrap is actually a standart menu item in the mcdonalds in my city thou its a bit diffrent a spinache/flour tortilia about 20 milliliters of majo 2 green salad leaves 2 slices of tomato and a slice of chedder chesse split in half then with either the grilled or fried chicken in the middel and there are variations like the quackamole wrap and the bacon wrap #babbletop
