Hello. I'm a jetski mechanic in Portugal. I'm finishing a kawasaki ultra 300 x, 2011, I repaired the engine. I've already tested the jet in the water and it doesn't develop, it doesn't go above 60km/h. It has a new intercooler and is working in perfect condition. I have doubts regarding the engine, where the workshop manual tells me 2 points. A point with 31 pins between point 1 of the intake arb cams and between point 2 of the exhaust arb cams. The other point that indicates 32 pins between the same parameters as above. With the jet in the water, it occasionally turns off. I don't know why the jet doesn't have power. Any help?
You would have to re-set the lash (Clearance). You will need feeler gauges and most likely a shim kit (www.kawiperformance.com/tools.html). The lash is the distance between the back of the cam (Not the extended lobe) and the bucket. It must be within specification for your machine.
just rebuilt my 15f motor and followed the instructions. I had good compression up until I started the motor, now I have 220 psi on cylinder 2 and 3, but 0 on 1 & 4. Could this be a timing issue or something worse?
@@kawiperformance I found out what it was. The retainers we're installed properly on those two cylinders, and then it damaged the little spacers on top of the valves. After fixing that it's running great.
Thanks for sharing. I need to tighten the rotor bolt to the crank but I don't want to buy the rotor holding tool. Can I lock up the crankshaft with rope in the cylinder or will 200lbs of torque be too much on the pistons?
Afternoon I have a 2017 stx 15f. I bought a new rebuilt short block My question is about exhaust side of the block when reassembling manuals all dated 2008 show a oil breather case. I do not have this part it doesnt look like it could even fit under the manifold was this item deleted on newer models?
I got everything back together and it started fine but having a problem it has high idle than i blip the throttle and it hangs rpm high and wont go down.
This a stoopid video. How can you possibly have the chain in the correct spot when you say you can put the timing rotor in any position? Its obviously not keyed or splined onbthe crank. Then you play stoopid music over the top. You haven't mentioned where you set the No.1 piston.
Why is there music playing in the middle of the video?
seriously. Pissing me off
What is the cylinder head bolt torque pound 2014 kawasakie 310x ultra
Good informational video.

Greetings! Tell me the timing tags of the Kawasaki teryx 1000
My shims and valve caps all came off. How do I set all those under the cams?

You would have to put the cams at lobe up and vacuum test the head, it is possible a valve was bent

Hold the other end of the crankshaft bolt
@@AdminMedooH the bolt will break

Yes they deleted it
Can an ultra be detuned for n/a?
Yes
CAN YOU HELICOIL THIS STX160 MOTOR SPARKPLUG
No, it must be done with our Kawasaki time serts

Check your idle adjustment, or may have a bad idle motor
I replaced the iac and still revs up high and i have to kill it.@@kawiperformance
any other ideas?
Did you check your actual throttle cable and the throttle cable position sensor? Sounds like something is binding.
You the best
Step one, put an ultra 150 two stroke in it
Soooooo, roughly, 9ftlbs LOL

You don’t care the piston if you look the marks from the front
The timing rotor is not in a random position, it is keyed, so only fits in one way. If you follow the marks we mentioned, #1 piston does't matter.
