Let’s just appreciate that Isabel takes “a day off” and still manages to have a vision in mind for filming, then film everything by walking many more steps than necessary, carrying around a lot of extra stuff like a drone and filming equipment, talking to the camera etc! Just wow!

In September I went to my property in AZ in the middle of nowhere, incredibly remote. I was terrified as well, and trying to process the loss of my best friend a couple weeks before. It was one of the biggest challenges to drive from WA to AZ, the fears, the doubt, the anxiety, the worry, the sadness, but there was also moments of joy, accomplishment, euphoric bliss, an understanding I came to with myself, and just so many emotions to work through. We have to be there for ourselves. Trips alone in nature teach a person so much about themselves and what they truly want out of life. It's incredibly, really. I'm glad you had that experience at Blue Lake Isabel, it was very moving to see. Thanks for sharing your life and beautiful experiences with us🕊❤

Next time, keep freeze dried fruits and veggies and your own seasoning blend with the grains and nuts of your choice. You just add water and boil; and you got yourself some wonderful meals. If you have hot cereal, you can add the freeze dried fruits. If you carry freeze dried fruits and veggies, it is much less weight to carry plus you get most of the nutritional value of the freeze dried products. It is comparable to fresh produce. Enjoy!!!🌼🌼🌈🌈🌳🌳

Going forward, setting it up, running back down, walk up acting normal, going back, getting the camera...from a professional studio/steadicam camera operator, good job.

I wish I could show you the mtns where we have our house in the VA Appalachian Mtns. It's totally different bc it's very lush, w/very thick foliage, & millions of trees. Only decent way to hike is to use hunter's footpaths, or those from deer, mtn lions, bears, wild turkeys, etc. Otherwise, there's so much life, & there must be a million shades of green! Wish I could upload pics! The stream behind the house has a mtn going straight up on the bank on the other side, & going last week was a real treat - took pics of natural ferns growing everywhere along the bank, & the water was rushing bc of the rains, yet you can still see the bottom, clear as day! If you don't know there's water, in pics it looks like a strange mud! Lastly, anything you plant will grow in that soil, & we mainly planted for seeds this year, but have still harvested red potatoes, 4 different varieties of tomatoes, various peppers, etc. The house is a livable gutjob right now, down the studs inside, w/intact exterior, & we're waiting for lumber to go down to get sheetrock, & wood for framing, & a new deck. It'll be great, but it's not as satisfying as you building a tiny house, & now a substantial, 2 level structure! You get to make memories there knowing YOU made it! What satisfaction that must be!
I love your mtns bc you can hike. The canopy from trees is higher there, & all the open spaces are amazing:)

I was born and raised on the east coast my whole life and now live in Colorado for a new engineering job and I have to tell you… the west is not lush like the east coast. Not a lot of rain and there is smoke from the forest fires in California. It’s very mountain desert. I miss the lush green, dense, and large tree forests of the east. And I miss the rain and ocean. The only thing cool about being in Colorado is being able to climb to 13,000 to 16,000 ft and playing in snow all year when it’s too hot at the mile high elevations.

To my knowledge she is not a hiker ...yet she glosses over a supposed bear siting. Does she even know what to do or how to identify the bear ? Because your reaction should be very different depending on the type of bear. Check out some real hiking videos and you'll see the differences immediately. It's all fake. This stuff can be dangerous...it is how people get lost &/or die in the Mts.

The fright could be the basic human instinct. It’s what keeps us alive to have a healthy fear. We’re animals and we’re trained over years of evolution naturally to be aware of an area like a dark forest where a predator could kill us (historically and now ).
