Diane, if you have access to it, i think you would very much enjoy vellum paper 😊 it is thin and has a lovely sound especially when weathered with coffee 😊 it has very crisp crinkles that aren't too loud and the paper tears also very quietly, if you were to make for example a video where you make labels from weathered paper 😊
@@alyseb5730 you're right, she is french. German accent sounds way different in my opinion, its not that beautiful... I am german so I can say that lol
Can’t believe there are people putting a thumbs down! Imagine seeing someone put this much effort in and putting a thumbs down...even if you don’t enjoy the content, someone’s still worked hard to create it; another version of if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!
You inspired me to create a little album. It will be made of old looking paper and I want to paint illustrations of herbs that could be found where I live. Some kind of herbal tea album. Thank you for inspiring me 💖
These simple and elegant tutorial videos prove even without the amazing props and cinematics she is still an amazing talent. Her voice is a spoken lullaby.
once I did this with coffee, to make a hogwarts letter for my friend who loves harry potter, she also loves coffee and her gift had a cozy scent of coffee all over it ☕😅
She's up to 250,000 subs in a really short amount of time. I bet she hits 1 million this year! And she's so deserving of it! This is like the highest quality ASMR right here. It's genuinely unique and interesting with incredible production value and her voice is absolutely perfect 🤗
My mom did this once and made me and my sister a treasure map when we where little in the spring to go find stuff IT WAS AMAZING she was very artistic for us
I grew up loving scavenger hunts and treasure maps! Not to mention anonymous letters left for me in secret places. Maybe that's part of the reason I created my channel, SteamPour, which is about all these things and more! I think if you go take a look you may love it.
This video really brings back some fond memories! We used to do this for homework and the way my mum used to do it was she would take some of her art paper and tear the edges to get uneven frays. Then she would scrunch it up into a tight ball for a minute, unravel it, lightly sprinkling it with water before stretching it back out and laying a big ol' book on it. (This was apparently to get the stiffness out of the paper & to set the big creases) After a couple of hours she would take some lukewarm water and a tea bag. Take the paper, lightly scrunch it up again and place it on a flat surface. Take the tea bag, dip it in the water, squeeze it and run the tea bag over the frayed edges and larger creases ONLY. Immediately put on the radiator to dry asap. Then back under the book for 30 minutes. She would make up a coffee solution in a big tray (she used liquid coffee) remove the paper and place in the tray to soak for no more than 2 minutes. Remove, hang on the line & hey presto! Unnecessarily complicated but extremely cool paper for your teachers to get impressed by :D Also, I love paper based videos. This one and the wrapping inkwell are my go to ones. Thank you x
I first discovered ASMR when I was searching for paper sounds, having found the sound of paper gently crinkling to be very relaxing. This video took me back. Thank you for the effort and care in the video. It's truly exceptional.
I have CAPD too. I don't have the ASMR tingle response, but films like these with clear slow speech almost put me in an altered state just because they're so rare.
As a history major this got me thinking... I wonder if they’d let me turn in my senior thesis with some aged looking paper. I mean they definitely wouldn’t let me but they definitely should. Actually I given them enough money they should let me turn it in via messenger hawk if I so please
So I watched this last night... and fell asleep and never learned how to age paper. :D What I especially like about your videos is the lighting - the orange tones make them perfect for falling asleep to!

Some of your videos, like "Preparing an Order at the Apothecary Shop" are as close to time travel as we will ever get . i love your attention to detail with light, sound, and texture . your accent simply adds to the effect as a whole.

This is the most amazing ASMR video I've ever seen. So lucky to have discovered this channel. Her accent and her unique ways of providing relaxing videos and sounds are wonderful. ❤️❤️❤️
I don't speak French at all, but somehow understood this whole comment lol, and I totally agree! Weird how language structure and similarity between romance languages can make up for a lack of understanding exact words.
This was both incredibly relaxing, and provoked a random thought - I wonder what people from the past would think about us modern folks going to such lengths to make stuff look old? I don't think this really became a "thing" until we had machined paper or even later, unless you were working on a play or movie making props. Don't get me wrong, I like the aesthetic too, it just made me think what an odd thing that might seem to like, to someone who had never seen printer paper before.

I never clicked a notification so fast. I LOVE your videos. Your asmr about getting back from a ball helps lull me to sleep when nothing else works. Thank you 💚
The quality and thoughtful detail in your videos is astounding. And what an impressive collection of period things!! Wow! We used to use a dark tea and wet the paper with it. Then put the paper in the oven to dry it. The paper would look old and sometimes stained.

Serious! I'm very new to ASMR and I was NOT prepared for my head and neck to tweak out like the way your back arches if someone runs a finger down your spine. It was amazing, though. But I had to switch to a lower quality headset, heh! Too intense for a beginner with autism and sensory processing disorder.
You are incredible! You can see you put so much thought and effort into your videos. Most of the videos i forget its asmr because they feel more like a tv series. Very talented artist and actress.

Why I couldn’t find you before?? The level of detail is extraordinary, your soft voice so smooth and how each video is a wonderful journey to past ages... you just won a new subscriber and a supporter...
excellent advice. been doing this a long time. tea can be used, too, with varying effects, especially if long tea leaves are left in places to stain patterns. diluted wines can create interesting effects, too. also, some simple dry wax can be ground in and/or mildly heated to create an ancient waterproofing effect. thumbs up all around. masterpiece quality as always.
I love and get so excited when you post! You are definitely my favorite asmrtist. I love the style and theme of your videos and you never go over the top like some asmrtists do. Your videos are so relaxing! I love drinking tea while watching them it calms me so much and puts me right to sleep.

Why I couldn’t find you before?? The level of detail is extraordinary, your soft voice so smooth and how each video is a wonderful journey to past ages... you just won a new subscriber and a supporter...
Wow, what attention to detail with the setting, sound, etc! The paper sounds great! Thanks!
excellent advice. been doing this a long time. tea can be used, too, with varying effects, especially if long tea leaves are left in places to stain patterns. diluted wines can create interesting effects, too. also, some simple dry wax can be ground in and/or mildly heated to create an ancient waterproofing effect.
thumbs up all around. masterpiece quality as always.
Oh la la, j'adore vos vidéos Diane. Merci bcp pour ces moments relaxants ✨
Omg, I love these types of ASMR.. Papers, books, candle lighting... Thanks🌸

I found your tutorial and voice very relaxing to the point of wishing you would do a mediation video. So very happy I found you. Thank you.
Love your ASMR content! I find it so inspiring for my own work! Thank you so much for the amount of detail you put into each video! Bravo!
As a kid, I used to age paper for making treasure maps. Fun times.
I love and get so excited when you post! You are definitely my favorite asmrtist. I love the style and theme of your videos and you never go over the top like some asmrtists do. Your videos are so relaxing! I love drinking tea while watching them it calms me so much and puts me right to sleep.
You are an artist in so many ways! My respect for your awsome work and your passion for ASMR!^^
I love vintage stuff..and those papers look great.
Wow I love your asmr. I found you last night when I couldn’t sleep and you put me right to sleep! I also wanted to tell you that your absolutely beautiful!
