Hamas terrorists overtook the convoy, they fired guns, they were in the WCK vehicles. They targeted this aid group to bait the IDF into responding. WCK staff did not answer calls to check on them. One thing Chef was getting at, when the IDF drone operators and soldiers indiscriminately attack civilians, they are damaging their own humanity. In a video in Hebrew while Netanyahu was claiming the drone strike that killed the workers was an accident, he seemed to be trying not to snicker. Several viewers also posted they also thought he seemed remarkably insincere. Here Chef Andrés was shedding tears and saying he feels responsible for sending the workers to Gaza, and that the pain of this loss will haunt him the rest of his life. Such a different reaction. Such a difference in the character of these two men.
I saw Netanyahu smirking as he explained that "these things happen in war". He's one of the most disgusting political figures in the world right now.

According to Haaretz and +972 magazine, the IDF has declared entire areas "death zones", which means that everyone in that area is presumed a terrorist, and should be killed. In addition, according to Haaretz, the local commanders, many of whom are settler extremists, ignore even those orders and make their own rules. Netanyahu's own ministers, Yoav Gallant and Itamir Ben-Gavir, have openly stated that all the Palestinians in Gaza are terrorists and should all be exterminated (including children), along with anyone who gives them aid. You can find their statements on RUclips. The Israelis will never have an honest, open investigation of the Hind Rajab murder, or the Shireen abu-Akleh murder 2 years ago. They only came clean on the WCK murders after Joe Biden called Netanyahu and demanded it, only because his staff told him that he was losing the Palestinian vote and a good part of the Jewish vote. Haaretz journalist Gideon Levy said that Biden could stop the war with one phone call.

The convoy had ARMED security guards, and Israel knew that, so why assume it was Hamas? And if it was Hamas, how does it make sense that a Hamas operative would be welcomed into one of the cars? Unfortunately he does have some responsibility for sending people into a war zone. Good intentions but taking large risks. That area was and is too dangerous to send people into. I'm sure Israel made a lot of guarantees and I'm sure he's very angry at Israel (mostly at the Israeli government). Gaza, while the war is ongoing, is much more dangerous than any other area WCK has operated in. Very sad. When rockets and bombs are flying inevitably uninvolved people get killed.
Andres should not feel guilty - think how many lives they've saved throughout the yrs that would have otherwise died. It's difficult to balance out when he's emotionally involved with his friends and workers. But they sound like such angels, maybe they don't regret it and are very rewarded now in heaven, away from all this.
