@@dinurafernando1556 Apple literally did made the ANC worse because of a patent issue, I don't personally own the airpods gen 1 but objectively speaking, Apple did make its ANC worse.
@@claasctwitchuncutthe first gen’s tracking sucks, I lost mine twice (1 of those times it was stolen) and I never found either, and the person that finds it (or stole it) can set it up as their own once they have it!
The best feature is the Adaptive Transperancy.. I have partial hearing-loss and these headphones give me a solid 20% of my hearing back and it’s in stereo! It was amazing the first day taking a walk and hearing birds and being able to tell what direction. They aren’t hearing aides, don’t get me wrong there. Just saying.. my damaged ears do very well with them. Ultra comfy too.. can stay in all day unnoticed. Most earbuds hurt me after an hour in my inner ear. Anyways.. it’s weird. They have some case issues. But.. sound amazing.
Thats wild good for you! For me i turned noise transparency on and maxed its sensitivity out in settings its weird how loud it is but not good at maxed out for sure at least not for ke
IMO it actually reduces the sensitivity to a press or hold quite significantly to the point where like 30% of the time pausing or switching between modes just doesn’t work, they should’ve just added a turn knob where the silver ring is on the bottom, perhaps a bit grooved like the digital crown on the watch
Honestly, it's the H2 chip. Better sound quality, better noise isolation, much better microphone, and the silicon ear tips. I wish they gave all their airpods the silicon tips (cause the hard plastic is honestly garbage), but definitely the best airpod product on the market. Plus, it charges with USB-C.
I like the 2nd gen noise cancelling more than my 1st gen.. in non very loud environments. It’s good at cancelling all noise EXCEPT really high pitches. So when i play the drums i can hear the TSS sound very loudly, and it’s a tad annoying.
I got the second gens as my first ever set of AirPods and I absolutely love them. Although I must say I wish noise cancellation was just a little bit better, but it’s still awesome
I have the classic AirPods gen 1 and they are really great, but the noise cancellation is not that great but I can still use them without any problems! In 1-2 years more I might have to upgrade 😂
I used to use the volume rocker on the wired buds constantly, and when the first AirPods came out I was so mad complaining about planned obsolescence, and how the volume adjustment feature is literally a feature they’ve had for decades and didn’t include cause they want you to buy the next ones which will definitely have that feature, eventually they give us the feature, and idk if it’s cause atp I haven’t had it for so long that I just feel more comfortable doing it from my phone, or something about the swiping feels unintuitive, but I’ve had the pros for years and I must’ve used the volume change feature less than 10 times.
I've just bought Samsung Buds. All you need to do is touch your ear to change volume. Left volume down, right volume up. Touch anywhere but not the earbud.
no guys the best feature is actually the charge via apple watch charger. For an apple watch owner like me is so easy to have not a third different cable for airpods too
4 years ago I bought my AirPods Pro and I remember swiping up and down and wondering why it wouldn’t change the volume but my older brother explained that that simply wasn’t a thing
The crazy part is this is my first pair of AirPods and going through set up I thought that volume control was just standard. I’m glad I got these ones because for the price I better be able to control volume control
I have the JBL tour pro 2s and they and many other JBL headphones have customizable touch controls on the earbuds and one of them is to control volume with one or two taps
Wait the first gens don’t have volume control? I’ve only ever had the second gen, and before that I used other brands that all had volume control. That’s genuinely crazy that it wasn’t a feature
Bro that feature you just mentioned so casually is what is saving us to by another pair of 300 dollar AirPods 😅😅 , and yeah you don’t know this but the most new features include 3d sound which basically feels like you are listening to music from your phone whereas all the sound is coming from the pods and yeah the adaptive audio in which the pods switch to transparency mode whenever someone is talking to you
As someone who has owned the first gen’s and bought the usbc second gen’s the day they came out I can confirm the 2nd gen’s are way better and hey I can use usb c rn it actually is worse because I have 3 chargers I have to carry but when I upgrade to the 15 pro max here soon (probably) I’ll only need 2 (usbc and watch charger) I’m not including my ipad bc that’s lightning and I don’t use it that often
Nah, for me the best feature of the AirPods pro 2 is the find mine feature for finding the case... Many times I would lose my AirPods Pro 1st gen and could not ding them to find them... however on the 2nd gen you can now ding them to find them VIA the find mine app
I really genuinely can't believe that the second gens have that much better noise cancellation considering how insane my first gen noise canceling is.
Didn't they make the 1st gen noise cancelling worse so that people would buy the 2nd gens

I like adaptive quite a bit for large crowds. You can still hear things going on around you, minus all the noise. It’s kinda magical
Touch volume control scares me bc I’ll brush my hand near my face and get blasted by 1000 decibels
it doesnt instantly max out or lower the volume with a full swipe, instead it does little portions of volume when swiping
I can’t imagine a scenario where I’d accidentally adjust my volume. It’s really well done and almost impossible to change the volume on accident
It goes up or down one tick every swipe
It’s pretty hard to do but very easy to use

I remember a volume rocker on my wired AirPods back in the day. They removed that and then brought it back as a “New feature” 🎉
My Jlab Go earbuds has this feature and had them for 5 years with absolute no issues

But the main thing, the sound is much better on the first gen pro’s as they are more neutral in the lows and don’t feel boomy like the second gen.
1st gen are even more recessed in the treble region. I'd say the 2nd gen is a better buy because the brightness on top helps alieve the boomy low end
