@@KatNesbitt, way back in the day and I mean waaaaaay back, after porridge would be cooked, the cooked porridge would be stored in a drawer after the day it was cooked and sliced for breakfast for the rest of the week. This was a long time before instant or quick cook oats.
I just realized that’s how you would translate atole to English. (Atole is a Spanish word which means porridge)

I’m in Louisville, Kentucky. We got the winds. 75% of the county was without power for almost a week. A LOT of wind damage. I lost power for 3 days. My parents never lost power, so I got lucky that I could stay there & lucky that I didn’t have any property damage.

Oatmeal is made from rolled oats, where I think Porridge can be made with other grains I think.

So I happen to be watching this as I start to pack to go home, pretty easy, since the airline I flew sent my checked luggage to another airport in the US, while I'm setting here outside Innsbruck Austria. After shopping, I remember you talking about Primark in London, well there's one in Innsbruck. Means I don't have to wear the same shorts for 8 days😅, which makes my wife happy.

Porridge in London is so yummy and very different then oatmeal. We stay at a hotel that had breakfast it was the best hot cereal I have ever had.

Oh, gosh, London winter Sunday nights coming home from a walk and heading back to flat in Hammersmith and the darkness, the cold, the rain and the feeling I was NOT in the 20th century. I was never scared, only viscerally aware I lived in a very old city on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Nothing like it in USA ... nada.

Can factor be heated in the air fryer? I have a toaster style air fryer with lots of options.
I have never tried it, but I know they can be cooked in the conventional oven also.

@@KatNesbitt - Here's a hair curling tip you might try: My late wife, who had thick blonde hair slightly longer than yours, used to use four large pink sponge rollers, divide the hair mass into four quadrants, then roll them to the very top of her head, so they wouldn't be in the way when she slept.
