I was in beetwen a Toyota RAV4 2016, 4x2 MT and a litlle more expensive. So glad I went with the IX35... It's not a fast car,it handles great at low rev, good torque good aceleration for it's weight, nice consumptions, handles great on easy off-road as well, confortable (not a Volvo, but does the job), materials overall are good and seem they will last long, other great aspect Hyundai services are not that expensive. I saw quite few on sale with more than 200/250.000 km's so I'm hopping to drive it a long time... Sorry for my english!

@@CAPS_AMERICA wdym you get cameras and cops all over the place here in australia. If you do 130kph you’ll get your license suspended. @@CAPS_AMERICA True they are also annoying with cameras on the back of bridges which you can only see when you pass them. I've always wondered how fast my Tucson (ix35 in north America)can go and if it can go over 200 km/h. Since he is going at about 190km/h with a stock 136Hp engine and I have a 176hp engine it probably can. I almost try it during the look down on my ways to work (I was consider to be essential worker) i could see about 2 Km of highways in front of me with no one on it. My dad's ix35 2.0 crdi 4cyl d4ha is now tuned to 270hp. Bone dry stock, it managed to do it. The only thing was the turbo change (we replaced the original one with a new one for about 570€) and the boost control is set to 1.8 bar, but you can't really hear it in the cabin, only outside of the vehicle. It runs extremely smooth and it consumes less fuel then before with 184 hp. But, it also has the dpf removed, the EGR deactivated and bunch of other thing deactivated such as a command which is telling the ecu that there is a problem with the dpf or the egr. The dpf is actually still there, but the pipe for it is cut and separated from other things. Now, to be honest, you gotta be very carefull with the clutch and how you change gears, because now its now 382NM, Its 580NM. And if you slip a little too hard on the clutch, its gone. The other thing is with maf sensor which randomly cuts off power via the ecu. Somehow it always manges to do some type of shit to the ecu, beacuse its always after 2 weeks collecting dust. This is easy to fix just by removing the intake pipe at the start of the system and just cleaning the iner not where the sensor is set. And let it dry good before going for a ride, bc it will colect dust even faster. The other problem is actually with the emregency mode, in the stock version. Now its deactivated, so no matter what happens, it will not turn on, but in the stock version, not only it will turn on in the least expcted moment, but it will make traveling further distances on time hell, bc it limtes the car to about 110-120km/h and it cuts a ton of power on the engine, about 40% cut. The other thing is not to let it sit for a very long time on idle. Because not only it will make the ecu thing that the engine needs 35 liters per 100m/h to work, but it will also destroy the injectors and optional, depending on the egnine's reliability, it will destroy the crankshaft and the crank pulley, which is not cheap to repair. The other thing about this car is to be prepared to pay a lot of money for the clucth if it fails, is can cost around 2000-3000€ only for it (without the job done for putting it. This is in case you buy it from hyundai parts dealership. The good aftermarket clutch rated from 400 to 700NM will not cost more than 950-1800€.
