We lived in town but our property included an empty lot that had been neglected long enough to grow woods. My whole family benefitted from our daily hours spent there.

Your videos fill me with calm, they are full of quiet beauty. I love the olive green dress with the brown boots! You look timeless like a forest fairy. I am definitely going to make a strawberry tart this season because it is a show stopper. And you paint as well… how wonderful. I love painting but I criticise myself for the poor results so much that it is hard to go back to it. Art without judgment is a wonderful concept.

I loved this video. When I was recently in Europe (first time ever) we had a day in the Black Forest. It was easily my favorite day. It was so magical. The tart and gift wrap look superb. I just wanted to recommend a book that is perfect for Spring, I think you would love it. It’s called “Enchanted April” by Elizabeth von Arnim. Hilarious and sweet and full of wisteria.
And a docudrama called “Many Beautiful Things” about Lillias Trotter, artist and missionary. So inspiring, soul searching and beautiful.

This was one of my favorites! Being in nature, especially in the woods, is so healing, restorative, adn peaceful to me. I feel like it helps me train my mind to notice and enjoy the littlest things. It also makes me feel immersed in God's beauty!

I've been forest bathing myself for the last few days. My husband and I are on vacation in Hot Springs, Arkansas, visiting the Nation Forest it's truly beautiful here, and the fresh smell of the forest is always healing. Thank you for the beautiful video, I'm off to the wilderness!

My favorite gift wrap is plain white and brown. As you said its very easy to embellish. Your lavender theme gave me some beautiful ideas. I love walking among the trees and creeks. I am so happy to see that you wore a long dress for the occasion. I love doing the same. Your strawberry tart is the perfect dessert for Spring.

Yes Alaska does have lush greenery, Another youtuber I follow is Cecilia Blumdahl who lives up North but beyond the treeline, she is a delight but I could NEVER live in such a barren landscape, they also take large guns with them when walking to protect against polar bears
