- This Will Destroy You are an instrumental quartet from the great state of Texas who play a cascading brand of cinematic rock music. Often compared and linked to purveyors of the "post-rock" sub-genre, the band has managed to transcend the tag and carve its own niche via a delicate and balancing infusion of electronics, strings, and an array of unconventional "rock" instrumentation over bombastic and receding harmony.

We recorded This Will Destroy You Live in Montreal, QC and produced this HD concert because we want to capture the closest thing to what it's like being at a live postrock/instrumental show - doing it all for the love and passion we have for postrock music and all it's bands.

Fucking loving this band, in love with their songs, each song means or makes me remember somethin at least, Threads and Quiet make me cry (i heard them after sad moments) but its gorgeous to listen. I hope they come to Mexico just once :( i'd do anything to see them live. words aren't enough to describe their music :3 ♥

@homeinspace1 sorry i really dont know what post rock is, becuase i dont go by music in categories. i just listen to what i like, i dont label any band like most people these days.

I can ask this... i'm not a fool hipster, Bands like, Mono, God Is An Astronaut, Mogwai, Sigur Ros, Hammock, Maybe She Will are the best known in the post rock... Try whit some band ^^ Oh, If you like Black Metal, Projects like Amesoeurs, Alcest, Dernier Martyr, Shyy, Lantlos, Thranenkind and Heretoir, these bands combine the best of both genres. ^^ Cheers
