Dianas team switched this this up a shade giving a bit of a Dark Caberet vamp to the number and letting her lift the vocals into her more varied musical colour spectrum.
In the musical time spectrum of the UK this is just when the New romantics began to fade and a slide into the darker Gothic period and the likes of Joy division began making themselves felt..
There are some great numbers for a girl with a voice like Diana's to revisit...
The same musical arranger from her early teen success shows was behind this Crow and Only fools fall in love..
He recognised and connected with her talents with Rechenka Wicked game, Human and other s in the You are Super series.

It is a wonderful journey, isn't it? I'm sure you've gathered some back story about Diana's music and you're wanting to explore more. Of course, Diana's channel has oodles of stuff on it but not these, unfortunately. Knock yourself out just sampling everything. For her later concert stuff I would recommend looking for performances at a small venue called "Гнездо глухаря" or Woodgrouse (Capercaillie) Nest, the sound is good and the intimate setting is just that. Really, anything is great but in some of the bigger concert settings the sound quality can be not quite as good as you would like. Generally speaking anything from Diana's channel will not get blocked but there have been one or two occasions when it has happened on NTV sourced videos, there is no pattern so good luck with them.

Телекомпании НТВ и Тимуру Ванштейну (с помощью Дианы Анкудиновой) удалось сделать великолепное шоу, лучшие номера которого оказывают на нас очень сильное воздействие. Заменить это ничем невозможно - разве что таким же зрелищем. Видео с небольших концертов полного удовлетворения не приносят; даже очень хороший видеоклип подобного воздействия оказать не сможет. Большинство любителей музыки уже практически неспособны адекватно воспринимать только звук, без видеоряда. Я могу их понять; хотя сам являюсь слушателем старой школы и всё ещё пользуюсь пластинками и компакт-дисками. Но, к сожалению, всё реже - эта новая тенденция захватила и меня. Просто слушать музыку уже недостаточно - и мне нужно зрелище; хочется сильных ощущений, о которых можно потом долго вспоминать. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her general range is C3-C7, the main working C3-C6) and her voice sometimes has polyphonic overtones. (Not everyone can hear that.)

I also remember this big hit by DM from the 90s. Again, Diana made her own version of the song and it worked fine. As a separate note I admired the dancers on the stage. Diana is a great performer with the unique voice. One thing that bothers me - her performances are mostly very short. It's not enough for me )) Thank you for the reaction.

I never liked this song. And, yes, I'm old enough ;) BUT then Diana Ankudinova sang it and it becomes pure gold. How does she do that? How does this girl get me to love songs and entire genres I never previously liked?
