  • Serbian accordionist Zoran Rakočević trying out different Dallape accordions at the Dallape factory on the 13th of May 1999. This visit to the Dallape factory gave birth to the concept of the new Dallape Serbian six row button accordion 'Concert Maestro'. Zoran's input, together with the then owner 'Amleto Dallape', paved the way for the new design concept. The features of the new design ensured that the accordion would be lighter and more compact than its competitors which is important when having to stand and perform for hours on end, especially at Balkan functions. The strategic new register layout was designed to cater for both Classical and Balkan music enthusiasts, all with the tradition and quality that the Dallape name is famous for.
