@Vision-IT_1 absolutely plus you can have several instances of the plugin at the same time plus its cheaper than hardware 😂 but hardware has a different charm and sounds somehow more organic
€ Saving advice for Arturia: Befor you buy a black friday deal: Get the free Lap play version creat an account and than you get even more discount. For example the Pigments V costs 99€ with classic black friday deal but with the account and owner of an product you get it for 69€
@vasasv6848 but did you download the analog Lab play version? It is free. Arturia then says oh you have a product from us so you get even more discount;)
Worth mentioning the more Arturia products you have, the bigger the discounts get. i got a Minifuse 2 and Minilab 3 this year and could get the FX bundle for 99, after that, V-collection was only 99 to get ,and pigments only 49
Not really in my opinion. I own the entire suite and even taking advantage of loyalty discounts it didn't amount to much. Don't get me wrong, they make top tier product but they don't really do much to reward loyalty. Also if you read the fine print you are limited to resale of plugins that you may have doubled up on along the way. In retrospect the best way to buy Arturia is Black Friday deals, which are available to everybody.
@@martyp7401 you never own their software and at any point they changed their minds you have got a leg to stand on. They amount of money I have spent with arturia over they years, I wish I just put my money into Behringer. If you look and take advantage of the black Friday deals you can buy hardware instead.
this is great. especially as a newer to the industry person, some places seem to have permanent sales, some never have sales, it's nice to see them rated/explained like this.
A bit too early still, but Native Instruments Komplete typically goes goes on sale for about 50% off around Black Friday, and the Crossgrade/Upgrade loyalty deals for owners of previous versions is also typically 50% off, so it's generally a great deal to lock in. I tend to upgrade Komplete about every other version to save some money and lock in on a Summer Sale/Black Friday to save even more. When locking in a 50% off bundle on Komplete, I'd say it's S+ tier getting in from scratch, and maybe A tier for upgrading since you have to double dip a bit.
Im pretty sure in the past few years they only do the 50% off on upgrades for “summer of sound” especially since komplete 15 is relatively new. I could be wrong but I remember being bummed out a year or two ago that it was only hardware.
I just visited the NI website, and just to add a li'l extra info, Komplete 15's cheapest update price is only available for people updating from v12-14 to 15, and the next tier up is for people upgrading from v8-14 to 15, which leaves old timers like me with v2 out in the cold :P Edit: actually, I tell a lie! NI just chooses to hide the upgrade offers for old version holders under the account page, in the MY OFFERS section. It said I can get Komplete 15 Standard for £179, but there's seemingly no change to that based on any Black Friday deal.
@@tavenner07 Memory isn't the strongest thing to rely on, so I could be wrong, but I feel like over the years, the name of the game for Native Instruments is hold off through their first few waves of sales, until the real deal drops. In other words, the big full 50% Komplete sale may be held off for just the last week of November or literally the stretch of just Black Friday through Cyber Monday. All of this is to say, it's worth it for anyone interested in NI to keep a close eye, and strike when the real bundle deal happens, rather than picking up things individually.
Very sensible approach. Dollar-prices often are ex-VAT, so you probably have to add 20% in the EU. For Arturia owners (and probably some others) it might be useful to know upgrades can very interesting. Great video.
Great video thank you very much. For those who are interested in Vocal or Audio Alignment. If you are a cubase user you have that feature built in (don´t know about other DAWs). You find it under Audio --> Open Audio Alignment Panel. Easy to use and very accurate.
I bought quite a few Brainworx plugins from Plugin Alliance (owned by Native Instruments). Not only do they look and sound great but have the ability to set a GUI color around the controls. (Helpful when you have multiple instances open on screen) Eg. Red for Kick, Blue for Bass. But you better hurry up because time is ERODING, EEEEERODING, EEEEEEEEERRRODDING away!
2:48 if you already own a few Arturia products the price is even cheaper. I got the V collection and effects collection for a little over $200. Great value and company.
There are cracks. I paid for their software and was constantly having problems not being able to use them. Everytime I reached out, they were of no help so I got a cracked version of all if their plugins.
If you already own some arturia stuff they will give you a bigger discount for example for the instrument collection my loyalty off is $99 dollars for 39 instruments so thats $200 off of the black friday sale and $500 off of the regular price
watching this video after getting v collection... at least I'm feeling very validated x) did get some crazy personal discount for it also 85% instead of just 50
I was surprised to see waves horizon at $199, I paid a bit more than that earlier in the year for anyone without waves this seems like a pretty insane deal. I now have mercury and a few other plugins, however the horizon deal was I think around what I paid for platinum a year ago or something. This so far is probably the best deal I have seen so far. I am also considering the soundtoys v5 deal current it isn't massive discount but it is half decent and provides some classic plugins, that deal is on until the 5th of december though so I may wait until after cyber monday to see what is left in the bank. Just for comparison that is like 90 plugins or something for $199 that is what $2 or something a plugin, and there are some nice ones in there. The waves abbey road collection is also pretty good price, if you were considering that at regular price, its almost low enough to get it to round out the abbey roads, however I'm not entirely sold on the bundle just yet as the sound can vary across branding of the collection so not 100% sure if I want to put the money in on it but it is a well reviewed collection.
I use Reason 13 nowadays, but had Komplete 2 back in the day (almost 20 years ago now!) and still have it in my Native Instruments account, so do y'all have any recommendations as to what might be a great buy? I bought the Reason Rack Extension version of Audiorealism's ABL3 for 303 emulation, and I loooove it, but the VST plug-in would have been even better, because it can actually analyse acid riffs from elsewhere, and recreate the sequence for you, while the Reason version can't :/
I bought scaler 2/scaler eq and i've got the monark free as a gift for ~60 EUR. Thank you for recommending this! :) Btw feel free to put XFER on the F-tier list bc they don't give us black friday sales. (I hoped i can buy serum much cheaper but i can't)
I’m another existing Arturia customer very tempted by my offer of $149 for V collection, if it included pigments I would have bought already, still very tempted
@@xXscissors_61Xx But for who? I could also get it for 150, but if you not need the whole thing, just the sounds then Pigments and analog lab is enough i think
All Newfangled plugins are unique. Dan Gillespie is a genius, the Salvador Dali of plugin design - extremely creative, innovative, and hard to replace plugins, trailblazer in every aspect. Also Newfangled deal is an S tier, but if you have one the others are very cheap, 20-30 USD. (eg. Generate is 33 USD, and even VCV Rack or Grid can't replicate its sound.) Newfangled ❤❤❤ (Newfangled is a subsidiary of Eventide, Dan was their lead DSP programmer for years)
This comes clutch. I was considering treating myself with some new plugins, but I don't want to spend more than 90€. I can make a wiser choice thanks to you.
Or just choose wisely, buy the plugins you need for a problem you want to solve, and if you haven't one, you don't need to buy anything. Meanwhile, DAWs built-in plugins are, in some cases, equally pro. Cracked plugins often come with malware or simply not working correctly. Eg. I use only 21 plugins for everything. (some uad, sonnox, newfangled, and Serum/PhasePlant/Diva, no fabfilter, no soundtoys, no arturia because of the wide overlap, no problems with these, just the overlap)

You picked all the plugins people normally get and put them on S or A tier?
Look at end chart, how is that comparing their relative value?
Thank you for sharing your tier list, much appreciated!!
I have stopped buy VST and started putting my money into hardware. Wish I had done this earlier. This year I bought a moog grandmother and a DX7
This is just the truth unfortunately
why - aren´t plugins more praciticable?
