For me, the depictions of Pachyrhinosaurus in Disney's Dinosaur, Walking With Dinosaurs 2013, and Prehistoric Planet are top tier.💯%
Didn’t know pachyrhinosaurus had such a big horn problem, It looks so weird with a horn
Pachyrhino has to be one of my top 10 favourite dinosaurs, and although I didn't campaign for it like I did for the Edmontosaurus video, I'm sure I'm still gonna enjoy this one.
Never talk about Dinosaur Fight Club😂😂
I would correct you on the name, but honestly, the documentary doesn’t deserve it.
I Love How Prehistoric Planet Has Horizontal Pupils
same, it really shows the inspiration from muskoxen
Thank you for including my Path of Titans Pachyrhino!
Love your content, keep it up!
Thank you for making it! It’ll easily be one of my favorites!
My son finally getting his time in the spotlight
Did you forget the allosaurus?
Allo isn't actually my favorite, it was just the first thing that came to mind when I had to name my account
@@forgettableallosaurus7916 here I was thinking allosaurus was just that forgettable
@stuffynosepatrol it's one of the most iconic theropods, it's far from forgettable.

I'm the Education Coordinator at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum in Wembley, Alberta, home of the Pachyrhinosaurus Lakustai. We have Mr. Al Lakusta, the science teacher who found it, coming to the museum once in a while. And then we have the mind blowing bonebed 20 mins drive from our museum. And we got some cool things coming out of the ground this summer!
Fun fact; only one specimen of Lakustai shows 3 horns on its forehead, likely an old bull, the rest are all 1 or 2. But pop culture really stuck to the 3 horns!
That's a fine boss, Boss
Disney’s “Dinosaur” was how I was introduced to Pachyrhinosaurus, and I concur that it’s depiction there is _still_ fantastic (👏). And giving this ceratopsian the starring role in the 2013 “Walking with Dinosaurs” I for one really did appreciate, even with that film’s flaws.
Thanks for giving the “King Kong 2005” _Ferructus_ a shoutout; the Pachyrhinosaurus influence there is clear as day.
Dinosaur (2000) was my first screen depiction of Pachyrhinosaurus and it's amazing.
@@speedracer2008 Cool (😎)!
I sympathise with your horn/boss irritation, I have a similar thing in regards to Pteranodon being portrayed with teeth when it's name literally means 'toothless wing' (as well as the occasional presence of a Dimorphodon-adjacent tail and being referred to as a Pterodactyl, but I digress), which is a major factor in why I prefer the Jurassic World Pteranodons over the JP3 version (as well as the smaller, female-identifying crests, which is really making me want to see a male variant), even though I have heard many people say the exact opposite
Jurassic Fight Clubs Pachyrhinosaurus is literally an Achelousaurus with a horn
Glad to see you got your video out 👍😃
As wrong as Amazing Dino world was props given to the astonishing level of inaccuracy, they were wrong but at least they were confident.
I really love the Disney Pachyrhinosaurus, the way the movie was shot also made it seem huge and epic.
The pachyrhinosaurus in Arc is also positively TINY. This was one of the larger ceratopsians but here its like the size of a horse.
I really loved Mr. Thicknose too, loved the performance from Robert Guillaume, as a kid it was cool to hear Rafiki in a non-Lion King work.
Pachyrhinosaurs is the best
I absolutely love the interpretations that give it a thick, shaggy coat, like a dino musk-ox. Knowing ceratopsians had quills, it seems more than plausible to me, considering their cold habitat. Plus it's just so cool to see, unlike any other ceratopsian .
7:01 you can see most of the deleted scene in the Extended Cut of King Kong. It’s 3 hours of awesome added dinosaurs.
I too love this dinosaur so much!
The Jurassic World Mattel toy is an old one from when they were still deciding whether they would use that species or switch it to sinoceratops.
A new version of the species is coming out later this year which is more accurate.
Yeah
This guy is in my top 5 favorite dinosaurs.
And is my second favorite ceratopsian
(Right behind my boy, Triceratops, the OG)
Finally your doing my favourite dinosaur
I'm really looking forward to the video about Alamosaurus because I loved that sauropod ever since I saw Josh Cottons redesign of Arlo from The Good Dinosaur as one.
Love your videos❤
Protecting its face like a boss.
I was going to point out how unexpected it was to see such an unconventional pick so early in the series but now that I see its your favorite dinosaur it all makes sense
Still, as good a time as any to say how much I adore these videos. You're obviously knowledgeable, but you aren't pretentious about it in the slightest. I appreciate how you can point out inaccuracies while still appreciating a design for what it is.
I see myself following this series almost indefinitely at this point.
The Ice Age special of the Dino Riders cartoon also featured Pachyrhinosaurus with a massive horn.
The best thing about its toy version was that its saddle would fit on the Triceratops and Torosaurus as well.
Pachyrhino is a neat looking dinosaur.
thankfully this year we are getting a brand new sculpt for the Mattel Jurassic World Pachyrhino, and it looks great.
Yes finnaly did one on pe🙏 tysmm
Disney’s Dinosaur was my introduction to Pachyrhinosaurus, and it looked so cool.
Ditto
Really enjoyed this video. 👌 Hope you will get to stegosaurus at some point as its my favorite dinosaur.
4:09 is basically what I think of Jurassic fight club
That is a very handsome Pachyrhinosaurus figure. I have the beast of the mesozoic Chasmosaur, kosmoceratops, and 2 diabloceratops
Pachyrhinosaurus i my all time favorite Dinosaur, and I am SO happy that you finally got to Pachyrhino
Just got done with Chaos Theory, and I can confirm, we got a Pachy, and with no horns!
Favorite dinosaur of all time :)
I like some one the depictions look like they have a Lithops attached to there face 😂
It’s hard for me to pick between this and Styracosaurs.
Also Thankyou for the shout out in the description!! 😊
a MANY Interpretations video I honestly request you doing in the distant future is one of my top 5 favorite dinosaurs: *Majungasaurus*
We are lucky that the majority of the interpretations of pachyrhinosaurus have a boss and not a horn
One of my favorite dinosaurs I’m so happy he’s getting recognized 🤩
You should include Beasts of the Mesozoic in more of your videos, I'd like to hear your thoughts on a lot of their figures!
My favorite dinosaur for all time is Pachyrhinosaurus.
Also, For Alamosaurus, Please look into the Rourke Dinosaur librarry book Tyrannosaurus from the 80s, it was my first introduction to alamosaurus
Pachyrhinosaurus is one of my favorites! If you do an Alamosaurus video, don’t forget the depiction in the Magic School Bus :)
That paleo episode was my first into to Alamosaurus
It was also in Dino riders. Where it had a HUGE horn.
Comme disait Cyrano De Bergerac en parlant de son nez (faut avoir la ref) :
'' C'est un roc, c'est un pic, c'est un cap. Que dis-je un cap, c'est une péninsule ''
I love the Pachyrhinosaurus, it’s one of my favorite Ceratopsians of all time on point with Eotriceratops, Nedoceratops and Diabloceratops and I’m so happy that Pachyrhinosaurus has appeared in many dinosaur media and good job analyzing the Pachyrhinosaurus in Pop Culture and Depictions because of amazing the dinosaur really is.
in fairness to dinosaur king they seemed to sort of combine the boss and the horn idea. It's a lot bulkier and flatter than most of the depictions where it is just a horn.
My favourite versions are from Disney's Dinosaur, Walking With Dinosaurs (2013) and March of the Dinosaurs.
May I make a request: The Woolly Mammoth
My favorite Herbivore!!! I am so glad to see him in this series
Have to point out Dino Riders here. It does have a giant horn, but that is due to Robert T. Bakker being directly involved with the design, who did think it might have had a horn back in the 80's. Just Bakker being weird again.
The toy had spectacular colors, though sadly, the cartoon would ignore that for beige.
Something I wouldn't let off the hook as quickly as you is Ark. I recently found out they have an "educational" app on Switch that's esessentially a book on all dinosaurs from the game, using their designs as the real creatures and even writing stuff in there that is nonsense such as my favourite "Triceratops defended itself with its spiky frill", making it almost look like a Styracosaurus.
one of my favorites. because they are so damn cute
When I see them for the first time in Disney's Dinosaur, I thought that they were the coolest looking dinosaurs ever.
It's still one of my favorite dinosaurs.
My favorite dinosaur 😍
Any chance you may do Triceratops sometime later in this series?
Easily one of my favorite dinosaurs
My favourite dinosaur
My second favorite dinosaur ever since i first saw it in disneys dinosaur 😁
It's such a classic dinosaur
A fellow Texan Paleonerd, Represent my brudda
I think doing the many interpretention videos with Dinosaur toys and figures could be a way to continue the series when It gets to an end
I was a tester of prior extinction and I gotta say it's a good game and you guys should try it out if you can.
pachyrhinosaurus is my second all time favorite ceratopsian next to Triceratops due to it strange and unique appearance with it nasel boss from nose to above the eyes such a amazing dinosaur with it confirmed for chaos theroy with the toy showing it look in the show with it having it nasel boss im looking forward to it :)
Could you do many interpretations of Suchomimus?
And majungasaurs
The unforgettable Ferrucutus
Pachyrhinosaurs is one of the coolest ceratopsians when I was a kid I didn’t really like this animal I don’t know why but it’s my favorite centrosaurinae ceratopsian
Horned Pachyrhinosaurus is nightmare fuel
Tbh my favorite ceratopsian is pentaceratops and it’s my 4th favorite dinosaur. My top 5 are masikosaurus, pentaceratops, amargasaurus, acrocanthosaurus, and cryolophosaurus as my #1. Would like for you to many interpretations of one of these at least
Hey Dino Guy, the Ferrucutus from King Kong 2005 does have similarities to the Pachyrhinosaurus due to having the same round bulk on top of it’s nostrils and also they both share the same frill
I like the ark pachy because it reminds me of the ceratopian from the 2005 skull island
The prior extinction species is based of of Canadensis the largest species which was measured with GDI at 3-5 tons (model was 5 tons and size estimate for canadensis is the former estimate)
4:21 It more looks like a Achelousaurus because of the "Eyebrows"!
Yay, my favorite dinosaur.
Honestly when i used to play ark i wished they would fix the pachyrhino design caused its head looked off and the way it ran was verry weird and stubby looking. Even tho they gave it a weird ability where it releases a gas that either tires other dinos or makes everything attack it.
Mattel did good on the first Pachyrinosaurus figure, BUT have you seen the newest one to come out soon? I think it's more superior than the 2018 one
Why the heck would the animators for the land before time 8 not quite make this dinosaur look like the real deal?
Can you stegosaurus next
Finally, my girl is getting the love she deserves❤️🔥
1:47 Apparently, Chincherrinas wrote the script.
For the alamosaurus video don’t forget to include the one from First Apocalypse TV movie 2008 and the one from Tyrannosaurus sex
As I call the NHK version, Elasmorhinosaurus.
And the reason why Sinoceratops is in: Ok the full story is that the stock image of Adult Patchi they used for their Sinoceratops. Which explains the holes in the frill.
And if you look at the two side-by-side, it's clear.
My favorite of my top 10
I actually got that toy think it was sinoceratops
I like Evo 2' s dinosaurs in general
A was just talk about Pachyrhinosaurus a couple days ago with my friend.
How about adding Kentrosaurus to the poll?
You could make the many interpretations of Deinosuchus 🐊🐊
I hope someday sinosauropteryx gets a vid! I love my raccoon bird son
My fave ceratopcians are the triceratops and its kin and the leptoceratopcians.
I like that the latter can give predators a good chomp.
you didn't mention DinoRiders, it had a horn, but it was based off the info at the time (the toy makers were very adamant that the designs were based off info at the time (what was considered most accurate))
JFC's Pachy always looked to me like they were trying to do Einiosaurus, someone told them too late the horn curved, and they said "fuck it, it's a Pachyrhinosaur"
Edit: I've also heard the Sini/Pachy switch in Jurassic World was due to Universal being concerned that calling dinosaur Pachy could be confused with the Pakistani slur after something similar happened in the UK release of the first JW (which was also why they made Stygimoloch so prominent)
Im exited for chaos theory, because if there’s a chance pachyrinosaurus will be in it, That also means there’s a high chance Jurassic world evolution 2 will remodel them.
(I’m just not the biggest fan of Jurassic world evolution 2s current design)
do giganotosaurus/mapusaurus next
I've heard some people debate on whether Pachyrhinosaurus had either a fuzzy coat, or just body fat to protect itself from the cold environment, so I can see why some are depicted with the former. It's still a fascinating dinosaur either way.
14:25 nature documentary try not to have a massive carnivore bias challenge (impossible)
I call the “horned” pachyrhinosaurus pachyrhinosaurus elasmo because it looks like an elasmotherium
Next, how about you do "The Many Interpretations of Stegosaurus" or Giganotosaurus?
By the way, Pachyrhinosaurus is almost in Path of Titans! Via mods of course. There’s a few in development but there’s one that’s really close to release if not already out! But there’s also a Nascutoceratops and a Triceratops in the works as well! Lots of cool ceratopsians in development!
The old designs are emphasizing the "Rhino," aspect of Pachyrhinosaurus
