When you mentioned Poet Plays I literally gasped irl as I used to watch his videos daily when I was younger, and at the time none of my friends knew him. I feel very nostalgic right now XD
Them updating with the nostrils in a normal place is my spinosaurus. Brachiosaurus was always my favorite when I was little. I like all sauropods, but I love the “giraffe stance” ones. I like how vertical they are.
A few more interpretations of Brachiosaurus (that I know of) are: -Prehysteria Series (1993 - 1995) -National Geographic's Dinosaurs on Earth: Then...And Now (1995) -Dinosaur Adventure 3D (1999/PC Game) -The Ballad of Big Al (2000) -The Christmas Dinosaur (2004) -Stanley's Dinosaur Round Up (2005) -Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs (2011/Nintendo DS Game)
Dino Dan and Dino Dana also have this Brachiosaurus design with very long spikes on its back and neck. The spikes on its neck feel reminiscent of Amargasaurus, which is funny because Amargasaurus was actually on those shows. Just had to say all that because I grew up watching Dino Dan and I loved it.
When seeing the spikes I was trying to remember the name of the sauropod with the V-shaped vertebrae, but was thinking it was either "Alamosaurus" or "Elasmosaurs." The spikes make the Giraffatitan seem far more dangerous, but also reminiscent of an Amargasaurus
@@andrewmalinowski6673 You might be thinking of Augustinia, which was thought to have large double rows of spines going along its back and neck, but I’m pretty sure those were found to just be rib bones, so the animal would have looked more like other sauropods.
Also, don’t know if it’s on your radar, but there was a 90s sitcom called Dinosaurs that have a lot of (albeit VERY stylized) very iconic species that might be worth mentioning in future installments or its own video if you’re interested :)
13:37 Correction! While they may look like Brachiosaurus/Giraffititan, the Sauropods from Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs are stated to actually be Diplodocus… Thought you should know for a Interpretations video on Diplodocus in the future…
It was called Diplodocus a few times in the audio commentary. But later, it was corrected to Brachiosaurus. I think it was a simple mistake. Because it very much is designed as Brachiosaurus.
Ah Poet Plays. That brings back a lot of memories. My favorite episode will always be the Dilophosaurus breakout episode To this day I'm still trying to theorize whatever happened to that fourth Dilophosaurus. Whether it did drown or did just run off If you all know what I'm talking about, then you also had a great childhood
I'm glad Giraffatitan got a shout out here. I guess you could say it got a similar treatment to Velociraptor and Deinonychus, where some form of scientific debate caused one dinosaur's name to be associated with a larger relative.
Man i got such nostalgia with the fossil and archeology mod, here on Brazil there was a youtuber named “ Alexhessalter “ who made 2 entire series of this mod back in the days, his series was pretty much what introduced me to minecraft when i was a child. Nice video , big fan :)
12:13 The Ultrasaurus steed in the Mighty Morphin series counts. Granted, Ultrasauros was considered its own thing during the 90's before it was considered a dubious taxon.
Future content idea: For specific appearances you missed, make a note of it and make a pt. 2. Idk after you gather 10 missed appearances of an animal, make a pt 2? Idk if im alone on that idea lol but i just really like these videos!
I’m ngl but I much prefer Giraffatitan in terms of “favorites” mostly just cuz I’ve always loved giraffes as a kid and to have a sauropod dinosaur named after them is pretty epic
loving this videos. there's an animated show based on a toy line called DinoZaurs basically a transformers type show from early 2000's they also have a brachiosaurus design and there's other dinos out and prehistoric creatures you could check out as well
If you're reviewing minecraft dinosaurs, there's this resource pack called Prehistoria that i think would be cool for you to check out. it's fairly new so there aren't that many dinos but there are a few
Honestly, while a bit basic admittedly, Woolly Mammoth or Mastodon feels like a very popular animal that you haven’t covered yet and I would love to see it!
19:50 If you do check out both minecraft bedrock and java mods, i'd recommend Mesozoic Biology! It's an addon that focuses on being as accurate as possible.
I'm kinda surprised you didn't bring up live exhibition, show, and theme park appearances of Brachiosaurus/Giraffatitan, such as the _'Ultrasaurus'_ from the Universal Studios "Jurassic Park: The Ride/River Adventure" and "Walking with Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular/Live Experience."
There's also the Zoid Ultrasaurus, which is based on a brachiosaur despite the name. In the various Zoids anime it's absolutely massive, like a walking aircraft carrier. You might want to look at Zoids, incidentally, because I know there's a bunch based on creatures you've already covered.
Giraffetitan became it's own genus in 1991 but the Brachiosaurus skull wasn't found at that point so some Brachiosaurus designs are based on Brachiosaurusus body with a Giraffetitans head. An example of this is jurassic park
Yes, be my number one favorite sauropod when I was a kid but now I can’t decide what are my favorite sauropods, because after all all of the giant sauropods or majestic animals
There were also some Brachiosaurs/Giraffatitans in One Piece during the Little Garden arc. One of them ate Luffy, before getting decapitated by the giant, Dorry the Blue Oni.
5:30 this is not totally confirmed but I do believe the brachiosaurus walking out of the water there is metaphorical of how they evolved from how they were portrayed in the past.
You should do dinosaur toys as well in the “Many Interpretations of…” series. Don’t do every toy otherwise we’d be here all day. Just do these companies: Safari, Collecta, Papo, Schleich, Nanmu, PNSO, LEGO, Hasbro, and Mattel. Of course some of the dinosaurs won’t be applicable to these companies but just do what you can.
When I first saw the stegosaurus figurine behind you I was like "Wtf is that Abomination" Because the head of the dinosaur in front completely covers its head 😂😂😂😂
8:22 But the bump is kinda small so this means this is a True Brachiosaurus. And also please go see my comment in your interpretations of Pachyrhinosaurus video.
U should check the Ark ascended mods, specially the new rex by the team Paleo and the additions series by garuga whi has a cool ceratosaurus, Acro and brachi
probably mentioned and i just can't find it, but do you have any thoughts on Prior Extinction's Brachiosaurus? the model and patters are very interesting :O (Prior Extinction is a roblox game, i can link it in a reply comment if needed)
18:49 I have a brachiosaurus officially in Ark and it's not this one, this one is a remodel of the brontosaurus, the official designer is a mod but it's a sponsored mod in the middle that it's an extension of the game made By a fan,.
Hey my friend there are 2 franchises with dinosaur or dinosaur-like creatures that you should also mention: -Zoids -Harry and His Bucket Full of Dinosaurs
When looking at the Fossils and Archaeology mod stuff you should talk about the upcoming updated models! they're working on a massive update that overhauls like every creature :D This video contains most of the updated previews! The new Brachi looks GORGEOUS! ruclips.net/video/vd0lxy4AD0k/видео.html

Hilariously enough, in JPOG, Brachiosaurus (aka Giraffatitan) fossils can be harvested in Africa. Also, Brachiosaurus appeared in Jurassic: The Hunted during Level's 1 & 2 briefly and during a loading scene. 😁
Hello! Great video today, learned something new about Giraffatitan and Brachiosaurus. So, can you check out this korean show called dino mecard? It has around 51 different species of dinosaurs and some of the animals you covered are in dino mecard. It is a kid show so it's not very good for adults.... still for the content!
Despite the name, Titanus from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is also a Brachiosaurus and not a Titanosaur. It's Japanese name is King Brachion. Also the silver Ranger's zord from Dino Charge is technically a Brachiosaurus despite being called a Titanosaurus. The quirk in naming for many zords comes from sentai and adaption name differences.
Actually, it's really 100% only brachiosaurus representation we have here. Not a single one of Giraffatitan among this bunch. Because even if the geenral appearance of Brachiosaurus was based and made from the more complete remain of Giraffatitan, it's still the former species which is represented and depicted at the end, and wanted to be shown. Not Giraffatitan. The fact/process to use another extinct, better understood animal to reconstruct one you want to display but of which you have few info or remains on it, is a very common thing. two more fun facts, 1, brachiosaurus altithorax has less of a difference in length between its front and back legs compared to giraffatitan, 2, fossils and archaeology is making a comeback with paleo accurate models
Never knew the giraffatitan thing, awesome to learn! Think sometime we can get the many interpretations of mammoths and other Cenozoic mammals?
Absolutely! I’d love to do the Mammoth very soon!
@@DinoGuy8 I love the Jurassic Park Dinosaur designs especially the T-Rex,Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor no matter what

I watched Poet Plays a few years ago, and I’ve actually gone back to rewatch that series.

-Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs (2011/Nintendo DS Game)
The Ballad of Big Al uses the same Brachiosaurus design as Walking with Dinosaurs
I always liked the idea of Sauropods humming songs like whales as maybe group communication.

The Lego set is WELL worth it
Prehistoric Nature mod is another good mod with a lot of Prehistoric life
