Marty, every time I watch your vids, it seems like you are talking to ME. Not to a huge audience but like you are my personal teacher and giving me hints, tips, licks and full up lessons. You, sir, are awesome and I thank you.

Never taken the chance to say this but thank you for all you do. I'm 35 and have played on and off since I was 12, only really getting serious about it in the last few years. Never did well in school (my mind would constantly wander and I found it hard to pay attention) and as an extension, found it difficult to sit and practice something over and over. So I would learn the first three bars of a song, maybe the chorus, then get bored and move on to another song. I did this for years. At the same time, cementing all my "bad habits" (posture, positioning, all around technique) since I didn't realize I was forming them in the first place. Your channel has helped me exponentially. Not just what you teach but the way you teach it. Clear, concise and with no bs. You, sir, are The Man. Again, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
I'm working through your acoustic blues superclass and it's already adding so much to my playing. You put some real gems in this video, if anyone has their interest peaked here, I truly recommend taking the full course. The land of a7 adds another dimension very quickly. Thanks Marty
Marty your videos are great. I’ve been playing the guitar on and off for a couple years and struggled with it. Started to watch your videos and they’ve done more for me than anything else, now playing and enjoying so much more thanks to you. Love the way you teach. Money is difficult, we appreciate all these videos so much to help us play and our families enjoy the sound of the acoustic guitar, much respect and gratitude 🙏
Marty, You are the best guitar teacher on UTube! You take the time & explain even the simplest progressions so everyone can develop their 🎸 skills . Keep up the great work! 👍
You have no idea how much I appreciate your teaching method, I have blown away my friend who has been playing since we were teenagers in the last year. From learning basic cords and strumming patters to finger picking, alt finger picking. Thank you
Geechee Woe I learn a lot from Marty too. Rick Beato I like him too. See the Beatles tune that Marty was teaching give it a look ruclips.net/video/0i1fekgBW6Q/видео.html
I have been a heavy metal head all my life and lately I have found myself listening to more Steavie Ray and B.B. King than Mgla and Death. Electric Wizard and Sleep were my bridge, and now I am learning the blues thanks to you. You are really helping me evolve as a musician.
Marty you’re the first teacher that popped up on my RUclips search for beginner lessons over four years ago when I bought my first guitar. I have learned so much from the way you show and explain the technique of a lesson. I really appreciate your style of teaching. I’ve tried some of the other guys on here that has many videos too but I always find exactly what I’m looking for when I get back to you’re videos. Thanks man! Keep on keeping on.
This might very well be your best lesson yet on E blues. Your easy to follow instructions are appreciated. This lesson is great for adding versatility to my playing.
I'm taking the Acoustic Blues Superclass and have to say it is perfect for learning links, turnarounds and putting it all together is a 12 bar blues sequence. The fingerstyle is a big big plus. I'm practicing in fingerstyle so this is great.
Man that Taylor has some bite! I’ve just recently got my chords down, strumming coming along. So now I’m ready for licks as fills. This lesson is spot on !
Really good lesson. I started taking lessons a year ago. I have incorporated your instruction throughout the past year and I have really enjoyed listening and watching you teach. You are a real professional. Your teaching, coupled with private instruction, and practice is a great mix of styles and instruction. You are a great teacher. Thanks so much for the online help.
I always find myself back to Marty Music, I'm not a great player by know means yet but this man has given me the best anyone could that I can understand. This man is a treasure
Hey Marty I just wanna thank you because for 5 or 6 years I couldn’t make a nice sound and before following your lessons I had abandoned the guitar wrapped up in plastic in my garage. Now I’m listening and playing blues thanks to you man. Please keep the lessons coming and add some soul jazz lessons like jimmy james from the delvon Lamar organ trio
to be honest I learned more from watching your videos than anything else.. you are incredible and I really appreciate how much time and effort you put into your videos.
I have been playing for a month (roughly) all with marty and i was able to do the lick at the beggining!! I am very proud of myself for once and its all thanks to marty but i still dont think i will be able to do the other things he was demonstrateing for a while!! Baby steps!! Thanks again marty, u are truly the man!!
So much depth in such a tiny portion of the fretboard here. Have come back to this vid dozens of times to get inspiration and look for new ways to approach a handful of notes and strings. Good times. Thanks Marty. :)
Marty I just love your stuff man. I know you have thousands of fans but I wanted to just thank you for helping me sound like a real guitar player. You the effing man dude!
Hey Marty I really enjoy taking your lessons,I've been learning 42 yrs.but just recently started getting a little more serious, when I started there was no RUclips. I learnt chords from a mel bay's Matthew rest was listening to my old albums and figuring it out by ear.anyway Thanks

Marty, such a great lesson. This is so helpful for beginner/intermediate guitarists who are working on ideas and playing around with their own 12 bar improvs. Please keep doing things like this. I love learning entire songs through your teaching but these types of things are hugely valuable. Thanks!
Beautiful and clean Marty brother I'll. Be studying these cids all winter . I can play blues but I want to be a better player by spring. Thank you brother.
I like your Taylor, Marty. I have a K24ce and a Martin D-18. Both sound great for different playing...moods, etc. Keep your vids coming. Love them! Thanks.
Thank you MartyI love the way you take your time showing which strings you are playing I’ve already learned so much from you. You were born to teach////////
Finally caught the plague today, and am taking the opportunity to get back on the wagon after a few months of not touching my guitars for lack of time and motivation. Thanks for being great Marty. I'll be singing the covid blues in no time
just got your class, Marty. really well done. i've only gone through the first few chapters, but i'm excited about the way you have laid this out. very easy to follow. can't wait to dig into more of it! much appreciated!
This is the best and coolest video!! I’m starting to get into the blues and it’s kind of intimidating but you break it down in a way that’s easy to understand and feel good about messing around with the techniques! Love your videos!!
Not to make this about me but whenever I make progress somewhere else... I come back to this, or another video of yours Marty. You've made me believe no matter how long it takes to keep on chooglin

I’ve learned way more from this single man than Yousician could ever teach me, thank you Marty, you’re the 🐐
My son that plays now has no idea how fortunate he is to be able to have all this information at his fingertips.
Yousician is terrible

The people listening to me practice think I’m pretty good but I’m actually just figuring anything out and can barely play. Thanks Marty.
The people listening to me play wish I would stop.
But I cannot.
