Bought mine in summer 2022. Agree with this review. My battery started dieing at 50% in spring 2023. Contacted Rattan support and they sent a new one within a few weeks. The seat is a butt killer and you need to get used to it being a little jumpy, but for my first while I am satisfied. I ride only on pavement.
Not a bad bike then.. small quirks aside. little bit of diy effort to fix the battery rail with some loctite and decent screws and yeah.. sorted. Thanks for the video as always and look forward to the next one
I was also a little sad and when I realized how the battery packs put into place😮 and I don't know if they would encourage people to ride on the back I believe they said it's a 60 lb weight limit but with some additional foot rests for the rear passenger it is good for 90 pounds at least.they have good welds on the luggage seat.
I use the throttle a lot in dense traffic! The pedal assist doesn't give me fine enough control (it accelerates suddenly) and I'm usually in the wrong gear at the stop, and the fatness and weight also don't help. So to start slowly and maneuver between stopped cars, I just use the throttle. It's also useful when there are dogs around, since they seem confused to see me advance without pedalling.
Aventon gives u real world range test results right on their website from throttle all the way through the peddle asst levels witch is refreshing Because most e-bike companies throw out unrealistic range numbers
My L750 lasted 60miles befor the hub broke. The support told me to fix it myself with new plantary gears they sent me, after I had supplied video, with audio. They supplied a video of a completly different hub being fitted as an example. Support said I could spent $50 getting a shop to do it.?? I actually fitted the gears after viewing RUclips videos of the correct hub fitting. Of course this did not fix the problem, so they wanted another video of the problem. At this stage the bike had been off the road longer than I had owned it. I am dealing with my card company to get my money back. A lesson learnt. Lots of emails went back and forth during this problem, I explained that I was not an engineer and had no tools or knowledge. It was like dealing with a robot. Checkout support before buying an ebike.

WTF, I told them I was not going to pay to ship from Texas to California, this through tortured Chinese communication. I have purchased an expand 5 from Rad power bikes, English spoken service, am enjoying the bike very much, worth a couple of hundred bucks more.
I have this! I have mirrors and a little seat back I put on and my kid rides on the back with me sometimes I pull her around with the trailer and we buzzed up and down the hills pretty easily🎉 I need a new battery pack though do you know where I can find one? I realized I think maybe I left it on and it drains too far down and I can't get it to charge at all😢
I would probably loctite that screw for the battery slide. Another disappointment is the battery life. If they're advertising 45 miles and your only getting a possible 25 on peddle assist 3 that's crap
If you buy a new one today it does not. The older models allowed the higher speeds. I have one from a couple years ago that has a different display (curvy and says Rattan on it) and I can go well past 30 mph on throttle only after unlocking the settings.
Rk9 can you please help me out got a hi boy Titan atm love it super reliable have about 1000 miles on it I really really wanna get a beast I don’t want to spend more then 3 grand and need affirm check out the scooter I really really want is a kabbo wolf king but have hear a few bad things do you know anyone that has them also voro motors has some bad reviews on Reddit but then again so does varla what should I do ha may just get the varla won’t absolutely break the bank I don’t really off-road my scooters also seen you in Orem riding a few times for my job

Does the charging unit get super hot when charging? Mine does. Not the battery but the actual charging unit.
