Please keep making videos like these. Im buying a Honda Civic EX-T and I want to learn how to add extras on myself rather than buying the dealership to do it
Thanks for the video tutorial! Just bought the fog lights and will attempt the install tomorrow. Just got my 2016 Honda Civic Touring yesterday! My first thought was yeah those yellow fog lights need to go!
Can i take the angel eyes out of the new assembly i bought.. I cant replace full assembly.. Because of the sensor eye on driver side fog light.. I purchased and cant install
Vince, I have had no errors with just bulbs. Also, they are bright to me, the color matches the LED headlights and are brighter than the stock for sure. I have had no flickering at all. Hope that helps.
Can you give an update on these? How have they held up. Some Amazon reviews mention flickering as well as that they don't throw light as far? What have you experienced?
If you're putting in the white lights you'll see an overall decrease in visibility in conditions you need the fog lights to help you with. The reason they're yellow stock is because the human eye processes the yellow light better than it does any other color. Also, the yellow is said to penetrate through the droplets better and be less reflective than other colors with the droplets.
Makes no sense because most cars don't come with them or they now come standard with led fogs, yellow is just the color of temp and has nothing to do with overall penetration, it only decreases if your fogs are bluish to purple with the increase of Kelvin temp. Same with headlights, they offer halogens just because you didn't go up in trim to get the led fogs fwi.
Ceasar, the inside bulbs I found at advance auto, just use the bulb number in the owners manual. I am not sure of anyone making led headlight bulbs yet.
I am not sure where you can get led headlights for the gen 10 yet, I am sure someone will make them soon. The jack is a craftsman aluminum jack. I think they have discontinued them, but a lot of companies make an aluminum jack.
Where did u get the led bulbs for the inside of the Honda? Can u please add the link to where you got them. & what bulbs would you use for the headlights on the EX-T because I wanna switch out to blue or led. Thanks so much!
Hey bro, where can I get LED headlights? I have the EX-L with sending Also it looks like you car jack is one like the mechanics have. Where could I get one like that?
That's interesting, I didn't have the three pop rivets and the one 10 mm bolt. I had two 10 mm bolt and two pop rivets. The second bolt was located in the far back where the pop rivet is for you. I have the EX-T model, so I guess that's why mine is a little different.
No need for LEDs with fans, I have no problem with heat issues. The lights are very bright, even get people flash me with high beams when the are on sometimes. But the video is an install video, not about the type or brand you should buy.
This is Honda Civic LED Fog light look great! :). Last month I bought a new car 2016 Honda Civic EX-T but i don't like halogen headlights & fog lights. Also, I'm still thinking about super white LED headlights & fog lights. I just saw this video. So I want to make sure know what tools do I need to remove a front for Fog Lights??? like this video. Please let me know. Thanks
I found a great alternative to the bulb link to amazon, and this one has a 3 year warranty: www.diodedynamics.com/store/led-bulbs/listed-by-size/h8/h8-80w-hi-power-leds-pair-18220 The above is for the 2016 Honda Civic or any car that uses H8 Bulbs for the foglights, and you can also search on their site for any other bulb by size, or car application. Note: They have the 2016 Civic bulb listed incorrectly if you just search by car and year, for the 2016 Civic, so make sure you're getting the H8 bulb if that's what you're looking for. They show it uses the H11, which is wrong, just fyi.
this was a b to do.....i had replaced many foglight bulbs including installing aftermarket parts and housing on different cars but the 10civic: without being directly underneat it this was a pain. in particular the twisting the bulb into the housing. maybe I'm just getting old.

All the lights are pretty easy to swap out.
Thanks for the tutorial, just did mine in about 10 mins tops. Very easy to do, thanks again!

Thats what im saying

I would put the safety and functionality at the first priority, then the out looking.

Agreed. The yellow fog light is better than white fog lights is a fallacy.
Thanks for this. Just changed out my fog lights and this video made it simple. Appreciate it.
Thanks for the video! changing the headlights on my civic ex-t to LED's as well soon.
Looks great! I agree with you on matching the white look of the LEDs. Hope you could follow up on how they're holding up for you, thanks.
Just stumbled upon your video. Good stuff. Did you change your high beams too? If so what did you change them too?
Thanks, man! Now I'm ready to install my GEN6-LED-Headlamps as fog lights. Mine will be 3000K yellow. Thanks, again!
I got these bulbs on my G37 in the fog lights and they match the Hid headlights. I like em.
Used your video to access the fogs. Got mine switched out for a set that is both 6000k and 3000k. Can alternate by turning the lights on and off.
Works perfect for civic 2016 touring! Thanks for video.

Andrew, that was one of the first things I said in the video was that I was doing for looks and know that yellow lights are the norm for fog lights.
do you have to jackup the car to do it?
Also did you have to add anything to stop the error check? Or just straight bulbs?
Where did u get the led bulbs for the inside of the Honda? Can u please add the link to where you got them. & what bulbs would you use for the headlights on the EX-T because I wanna switch out to blue or led. Thanks so much!
Looks great. I wish I could have seen the before shot.

Thanks man, I just changed after seeing your video
For those plastic pieces under the car, could I just use a flat head screen drove to pry it off?
Tech Defender yes
Do you have any idea about the EX-T models headlight? I want change it to white color but , i couldn't find anything...

But thanks for the video! Helped me out a lot.
i just changed my lights to leds today on my touring i also had the two bolts and two pop rivets
Is it possible change the fog light without jacking the car?
Same concept for the 2017 Honda Civic touring ????
So take 3 plastic clips off and the one 10mm?
Thank you for the details!
Do you know if these would work on 2017 Honda Civic hatchback and if so where can I get them at?
Thks from brazil

where did u get that tool for removing the clips ?
According to the link u provided, Amazon says it doesn't fit in either civic 2016 or 2017 :(
D Hart If it is the same one as the video, it fits. Amazon says a lot of things do not fit.
Thanks for replying and for the peace of mind! I'll try it out :)
It's the led 5000k or 6000k?? Do you know what is the original color of the touring headlight?
Not sure about the actual headlights, but the LED DRLs are definitely 6K.
Were you get your LED Headlight bulb ??
Thanks for this vídeo is just what i need!!
How long did it lasted?

but they are three times to cost
Appreciate the tut. Subbed and liked.
Great vid, thx.
Will this fit on 2018 honda civic hatchback?
Are these a perfect match to the LED headlights? I just put 35W 6500 fogs on my touring and its a little off.
ordered from superbrightleds.com
Those tabs are really hard to get out. The bumper is so flimsy and I feel like I'm pulling too hard.

ricks kzrx H8
The link above says this not does not fix my 2016 Honda Civic Sedan Touring
Q Williams . I know, but they do fit!

What part number is the LED replacement bulbs?
fakegibsonssuck not sure, but headlights are h11 and fog lights are h8

Nicole Betancourt I'm also in Canada, did you find a set of plug and play LED lights for your fogs?
www.amazon.ca/SiriusLED-Light-6000k-Bright-Projection/dp/B00N5BAWYK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 here u go! its the same the guy on this video used.
Let me know if u got them and how they worked out for you!
Appreciate the DIY tip, but maybe next time get someone else to do the video so you can use both hands and we can see exactly what you are doing.
