- I just recorded a bit Gameplay of the Arcade Cabinets who made its way into this entry: For the first time on console #DaytonaUSA2 aka Sega Racing Classic 2 (Licenses...), #FightingVipers2 (Dreamcast), Sonic the Fighters and #MotorRaid .

Wish they sell Daytona 2 as standalone too
I guess even if they can get around the License issues tied to the Daytona Name they don't see Sega Racing Classic 2 as a Name recognizeable enough.
On the other side, Outrun 2 would work fine without Ferrari and they don't re-release it so... Yeah... Sega...

@@Ash2X Daytona USA 2 was the best selling arcade machine for racing for years
SEGA continues to baffle the heck out of me after 20 years. Unbelievable. Daytona 2 should have been a standalone with:
1. *Multiplayer Rollback Netcode* - Depending on the course, 20 - 40 players online with Rollback Netcode so international players can play.
2. *Online Servers* - It should also have a server system as intricate, transparent and supportive as Battlefield 3 PC so we won't feel like we are in a ghost town like what they did in Sega Racing Classic and VF2.
3. *Racers Lobby* - A lobby system similar to Phantasy Star Online/Street Fighter 6.
4. *Personal Rankings* - A personal Ranking system like in Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution
5. *ConQuest mode* - where you can race skill drivers from around the world (think VF4 quest mode)
6. *Leagues & Tournaments* - A World league, a Country league, a Local League, a Club league, and Single & Team Tournaments.
7. *Hosting* -It should give you the ability to create and host your own club where you can arrange your own team and enter Team Races
8. *Create your Decals* - It should also have a design a car graphics design decal features, monitisation for aesthetical car modding (imagine some beautiful lighting),
9. *Online Ranking* - It should feature Casual & Ranking Online play mode (SF6 and VF5)
10. *Special Events* - It should have Special Official Sega "Server" Race Tounaments that happens from Friday - Sunday that will give you a mega reward for X number of winners.
11. *SEGA RACE TV* - An Online Race Broadcast system called SEGA RACE TV (yeah, taking the naomi game name) that everyone can watch LIVE in the avatar lobby section. That race TV should be like VFTV, so it should cover LIVE events, show ads, league and stats update, showcase live interview and partner with official youtube partner channels so they can provide their up to date content.
12. *Avatar Merchandise* -Official merchanising for your avatar because they can be seen in the game via SEGA RACE TV,
13. *VR support* - with matching hand-to-hand controls
14. *Force Feedback Steering Wheel & Chair Rig support* - The code is already there, it just need to be activated as it is already done on Supermodel.
15. *Crossplay* - Support for ALL platforms including Xbox s/x, Xbox One, PS 4/4 Pro/5/5, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Smartphones (yes, the game can easily run on those) Arcades, and Steam.
16. *Tutorial* - An intricate tutorial mode that will teach you how to play the game properly from different drifting types etc. This should also link to SEGA RACE TV where professionals will show you their ideas of how to play the game and what to look out for.
17. Seasons DLCs - A DLC system where SEGA will update the game with NEW tracks and Merchanidises via seasons. This will include using remastered in Daytona USA 2 graphics, Daytona USA tracks, Daytona 2001 tracks, Virtua Racing arcade and 32X tracks, and new specially created by AM2 racing tracks. All track will be taken seriously so no strange tracks from other games such as Sonic racers. Within 2 years, it should result in a total of 20 tracks.
18. *Commmentary* - Ai controlled Lead & Co- Commentators that learns as you play. This should be both in-game and Server Ai learning (Server for official races, in-game for local).
19. *Bots* - Online Bots in case there aren't enough people playing in the game. Some should be standards, some can be Ai.
20. *eSPORT MEGA EVENT* - A official DAYTONA USA cup as this will be pushed as an official E-Sports title.
That's exactly what I would do to revive Daytona and make it a serious eSports title. True support.

I knew about Daytona USA 2 but Motoraid is a hell of a surprise because that also never had a home port until this came out!

I was also happy about Fighting Vipers 2 - I didn't play it at least for 20 years 😄
That is very obvious that the arcade pack is emulation on PS5 using supermodel and mame source code on linux. Motoraid is the only model 2 game with full mame support and has sound issues.

Never knew Fighting Vipers had a sequel.
It was only available on Dreamcast,so it flew under most people's radar. And it plays noticeable better then the first.
The cheats also work like reverse tracks, lap time practice and extra camera views

Anyone know if a ps4 steering wheel will work for playing Daytona USA 2 on the ps4 version of the game ?

This Arcade...Depends on how many Cutscenes you watch 😂
This one is in the second, main area of the game.
If you play regular... 2h I guess. You can cut it down a lot tho, maybe to 40 Min. Never thought about it, I always take my time with the Series 😅
30 mins without the cutscenes but can take upto 1-2hrs with cutscenes added. Theirs an arcade nearby after doing one of the 1st boss fights in the game
I may have missed it but does this version of arcade have all the titles from prevoous yakuza titles?
Some are missing - I forgot to show Virtua Fighter 2 😅
There is also a whole bunch of Master System games.
But VF5, Super Hang On, Fantasy Zone and Space Harrier are missing from the older Entries.
But those are in Judgment/Lost Judgment.

@@Rautz. The Master System is unlocked pretty late into the game.
This parts story isn't that long tho and you'll find most games along the way (I was missing 3...ish..)
But the emulation is great - including Save States and switching to the Jp-Version.
Exitebikes size was cut in half on its way to the west.

It would be great if Sega did a standalone of the arcade complete with your own avatar. Use a store update system to buy future titles etc

Yes, as far as I know there are no differences,except resolution and Framerate of course. But I don't know how the port is made on the older Gen. But since it's 20 years old...
